Will.it break down in that time, I have heard you cannot put it in the fridge and dies swiss buttercream cakes have to stay in the fridge compared to American buttercream please. Thankyou so much for your help.
How far in advance would I be able to apply the icing sheet to the cake? I'm doing a piano faultline tiered cake for someone and would prefer to do it the night before delivery? I'll be using swiss meringue buttercream as well 😊
If you want to prepare it one day or so before you have to put a thin layer of white chocolate or fondant under the sheet. Otherwise the icing sheet will form air bubbles because of the moisture with is in the cake and buttercream. Experienced it myself today :-( If you will eat the cake right away or a few ours later you don’t have to do that
From my experience, it doesn't I basically removed the paper but if you wanted to you could definitely still have the paper on your slice of cake, just be sure to cut it carefully. But then again, that's just my (one-time) experience, yours mat be 'better' 😊
I just ordered some so I will find out from sugar art and let you know. I’m guessing as long as they are kept in the sealed bag they come in until ready to use they will last long.
@@brittanybeacham5143 I’m still waiting on the icing sheets to arrive, however Sugar Art replied to me and said the sheets will stay fresh for a year in the packaging.
