Hi, Thanks for your message! I have the machine, and I'm planning to make a comparison between those 2 models in the next few weeks. There is no difference in the quality of the espresso. Depending on the model, we'll find differences in the personalization of the drinks, milk drinks with the latte crema and the interface.
It's a great little machine that can make better espresso than super automatics. But for that, you'll have to invest in a good grinder, scale, and non pressurized basket. There is also a decent learning curve. Whereas a Magnifica, and a few tweaks can make a decent kind of espresso out of the box. Which one would you choose ?
What about the doppio+ option on the start? Does it make a significantly richer and creamier espresso version with that option? I'm into espresso and care little about milk drinks.
HI, It could make a better espresso by reducing the volume of water. It has a longer pre-infusion and can grind around 16g of coffee. Not bad for an automatic.
@@Cafelista_Coffee Thanks. I had to decide between these two by 8/31. Felt they were both the same, but liked the look of the touch screen. So I went for the up sale.
🔸Magnifica Evo : amzn.to/4hqUhiQ
🔸Magnifica Start: amzn.to/3YoHiFp
Which one would you choose ? Evo or Start ?
Thank you for this video, this has given me the information im after, ill be going the Maginifica Start model, I dont really need the mild dispenser.
Thanks for your message !
Thanks!
Welcome!
Great comparison!
Have you had the opportunity to test the De'Longhi Dinamica? If so, does the espresso taste significantly better?

Thinking about the DeLonghi Dedica Arte EC885. What do you think about it as a beginner machine ? Did you test it ?

@@Cafelista_Coffee Thank you for your quick and detailed answer 👍
The whole life is a learning curve.
I will take the 885.
Haha you are right !

Unfair comparison. You should Start with same milk feature to have a Latte to Latte comparison.
In that case both machine would be almost the same, except the touch panel. At least here, it gives you an idea of the differences.

@@TracieLyons-r6d I would have chosen the same ;)
