- Hey guys, we got a little more done on the Eos! Today we are going through how to replace the seals on a Audi/Vw fuel injector. A step-by-step process that is not that difficult but CSW finds the difficulty. Enjoy!

I just stretch the Teflon seal on the end of a pen, then use a zip tie to compress it once it's on :) worked for my EA888

The number two hole is usually tighter ... yes, yes it is.
Are you allowed to use any lubricant on those collars to help pushing them over the seal ? Giggady
Dry with the tool, but going into engine and fuel rail, yes.
@@customerstateswhat I'd be inclined to use a bit of silicone spray dabbed place with a q-tip, or just a bit o' spit :) Those seals have to stand up to fuel so most likely silicone spray would not hurt them one bit.

that seal "looks" pretty nasty after the reshaping...does the OEM tool leave the same nasty looking seal?
I have a BMW and the tools are 3 pieces. That tool looks shady for those injectors. Looks like the OEM is probably three as well.

So its like doing Teflon seal rings in a GM transmission. Not to hard to get done, just takes a little time, and yet another special tool.
so what's the deal with the vw engine? do you know anything about why the other shop sent it to you there for this specific job? I'm curious
So just the Green O ring seals the 3500psi high pressure fuel to the direct injector ?

Couldn't you leave the first size jig on to hold the seal in place for the second step? IDK looked plausible

Put them on and let them set overnight. They should comeback to size without any outside help.

If you want to know if the Ultrasonic Cleaner is working, stick some parts in it and turn it on...
If the parts start telling the Cleaner to Calm Down and stop screaming at them, it's working...

Leave it to audi to over complicate simple. german over engineering at its best
And other injectors are easier to service? Or are you just basing this on the fact that it takes 10 minutes for one injector in this video?
I’ve seen a lot of special tools in my lifetime and I’m sure there’s still hundred I haven’t seen. But watching you change the injector seals on this vehicle only reminds me not to buy an Audi, Porsche or any other German vehicle.
