I like Tom, if the idea were an older Hal Jordan showing a younger John Stewart the ropes on how to be a Lantern. Otherwise I like Jensen Ackles, if he can bring an irreverence attitude to the role, which is what Ryan did exceptionally well, not sure if Jensen has that in his acting style?

IMO speculating on actual movie stars such as Cruise, Reynolds, Gyllenhall and Krasinski is almost clickbait in these types of speculative videos. This is just a random list of contemporary white name actors. Major stars are NOT about to star in an HBO series. A series cheapens their individual brands simply because the role is not in a larger budget movie. So you could get television actors like Hartley or Ackles but never a big star.
You didn’t even mention Glenn Powell. He is perfect. He is already born with the accent that would fit the character. He already played a pilot.
