Switch over to the sennheiser e604 for the toms a shure beta 56 for the floor Tom and either an audix d6 or a shure beta 52 will make all the difference
This sounds excellent considering, at least from what I can see, the band didn't have the greatest PA. Just goes to show that a good engineer is more important than anything!
stageleftaudio Awesome. I use an RCF single 18” with two RCF 10” tops. All powered. Nice little and loud PA. I bet you guys had fun that day mixing for the band.
Sounded awful don't know y you would even bother miking the drums no subs bass drum sounded like 10 inch tom just because you bring a big system doesn't mean you have to crank it , it's all about QUALITY
The audio was recorded from the onboard camera microphone, which has average quality. As well, the camera mic does compress and limit what it considers to be high sound levels. When the camera mic compresses/limits, it affects the entire audio signal.
Your reactions are very slow like catching the key/harp channels - vocals are way to heavily compressed drums sound like a AM radio, vocal has a harsh 5k thing happening - On the plus side - your hi hat and guitar line sounded “fine” 😂 😳 scary scary 🤦🏻♂️
This was excellent! Looking forward to more videos
Boy, that sounded good...nice work!
Thanks for listening!

The FOH speakers are Carvin (15" w/horn - passive; using Carvin amplification) and a Carvin powered single 18". Thank you for your comment.
Awesome video, did you guys use (1) sub?
Yes. The band used 1 x powered single 18" (Carvin)
