I was dropped off at Tree River on the Arctic shore in Canada. Before the float plane took off to return to Great Bear Lake I landed a 6 pound whitefish. Little did I know that it may have been a world record. It was delisious.

I fished that exact spot for 2 days with 4 people, and got nothing. First and only time.
Next to us a nice elderly Asian couple in their dingy were pulling out fish after fish 😂

We almost had the same experience until we started using small blade baits. They sell those exact blade baits at Coullee playland.
