My parents use to use this on their girls peas, cabbage & greens. I just picked the Trappey’s brand. This brings back good childhood memories with the hot Chow Chow. The young generations do not know about this good eating.
Man that took me way back my south Georgia summer 🙌🏾 We call it pepper sauce too. Drizzle that over some collards or cabbage green and you got a treat! Thanks for sharing👍🏾
Nice..definitely reminds me of of going to my Ma’deas house and eating them fresh collards out of her garden with that homemade cornbread…and she always had a bottle or two of homemade pepper sauce on the table…Salute!!!🍃🍃👊🏾
My daddy used to put that on his greens, mustard, and peas. I never wanted to try it. He died in 1996, I was 21. I’m 48 now and I planted some tobacco’s just to make some pepper sauce. I’ll try that recipe and see how it is. Thank you
I used Tabasco peppers and white vinegar for my pepper sauce. My wife wanted me to make a sauce that we grew up with. Yours is similar. Thanks for sharing my brother! Stay blessed!😊

Very nice harvest! Great demonstration of how to make the pepper sauce. TFS, I will try this with cayenne, banana, fish and habanero peppers, the Chinese five colors pepper failed but sowed more seeds, hope to succeed this time.
I had been wanting to try this. Not being from the south, I've never had it before but it sounds super tasty. Thanks for sharing. I'll be giving this a try.
Yesterday I tried my best to leave a comment , And it wouldn't allow me to send. Peppers look good and so inviting in them bottles. I was just out in the garden yesterday and Was thinking what else can I do with these peppers. Thanks for sharing. You

Did you know if you freeze the peppers, then thaw them out you don't have to cut the ends off? Saves a lot of time. By freezing them it breaks down the membrane. Been doing it for years
Great video. My first year with a Tabasco plant. So far I have only put them in my salsa. But I’m going to make this too. Thanks for the help. Can I ask where you can find those bottles?
Just in time Stacy! I'm getting those jars from Amazon! I'm growing hot peppers for my family! I don't indulge!🥵I'm definitely going to use this way to preserve some of them! Thanks Battle! Blessings
Hey I loved the video and actually just made a batch with the remaining hot peppers from my garden. I was curious how you store your sauce. At room temp or refrigerator?
My tobasco pepper plants and cayenne are 2 years old, I lost my 8 year old scotch bonnets last winter, but 8 years! They had "children" that are 3 years old this year.
@@HandsintheDirt i simply bent cattle panel over in an arch, pulled 6ml painters plastic (comes in a 100x20 foot roll) and held it down on the outside with straw bales (which later are used as compost in the spring). A simple space heater on an extension chord did the trick. It stayed like 80 all winter and was so humid in there it "rained" sometimes. The peppers loved it. I think I only watered 1 or 2x a month, if that.
I have a bunch of tabasco peppers that I need to do something with. I'm making this today. Some of my peppers are browned on one side though.....are they still good?
Thanks for watching TeeTee I’m not sure if they are still good or not is it brown from drying or rot? If it’s drying I think they will be alright but research it.
Looks nice & hot lol wow, Thai dragon even sounds hot! I made some pepper sauce the other evening those Shishito peppers HOTTT, for some reason. I’m not into super spicy either 😫 Your carrots, maters & peppers look good! TFS
