Gardner was truly a great person with great knowledge and lot's of great ideas to perform he's dreams on the bike industry, I'm glad to say that I worked for Gardner 2 and a half years as a welder 😊
Nice video for a forgotten line of recumbent bicycles. The funniest thing is that almost no one promotes these recumbent bikes but they've been doing it longer than most other companies.
It's tragicomic, majority still rides conventional 19th century invention format with unhealthy stone seats, when we have developed the bike into semi-recumbents and recumbents, ergonomically and aerodynamically superior. Riding an own built semi myself and all I see around me is conventional bikes, don't know should I cry or laugh.

Its the year 2023 and after polishing and oiling my tour easy I bought 31 years ago I took it for a ride around the neighborhood. 😀
That's like a "memorial ride." If you bought it 31 years ago you probably knew or met Gardner Martin. He left us much too early.

One of the best bicycles I ever peddled I was hooked the very first time
I’ve had mine since 1995. I love it.
I've never met Gardner but I miss his vision and he could explain the recumbent bicycle better than anyone I've seen or heard before
You would have liked him. He was easy to talk to, pleasant, open, a real person.
My brother built one from the plans. His test ride was a two day run from Tucson to Nogales and back.
Fantastic
Nice Brazil
