The purple clouds that you were running through are sakura flowers. If you use an electro attack (Lisa is great for this) they become collectable. Those bandits weren't calling you a fairy, they were saying "to the VERY end." Something that the designers started doing in Inazuma was that each area got a major world quest. These quests are heavy on lore, can last many hours, and often unlock new areas. Unfortunately, they are unvoiced. The one on the second island you unlocked is actually time-gated: there are 8 (I think) sections, and you have to wait for a daily reset before doing the next one.
I think that getting distracted and exploring around when we get to a new nation is something everyone does. There's just a lot of shiny and new collectable things, it's unavoidable. The waverider was actually introduce before Inazuma, in a time-limited event that happened just before leaving Liyue (it's in the list, you'll get to it). It was a pretty big deal then, but because the game assumed that players would know about it from then, it didn't get a proper introduction in Inazuma. Then again, it's just a device to move around, so it's not that important by itself. Inazuma is a bit difficult at first because of a thing that you've already realized: anything will try to kill you. You come too close to a certain tree, the tree will zap you. You get into a misty area, the mist will harm you. You want to swim in a certain lake or walk around a certain area, you better be quick or you won't make it out. It's a bit annoying when you just want to explore freely, but you become accustomed to it eventually. Also, although you've alredy been introduced to it in Chenyu Vale, Inazuma is the place where long world quest were introduced. There's one for each island and they're super important. Some of the help you explore the area and unlock many secrets (some even take the deadly things out) while other contain a lot of lore and knowlegde that you wouldn't get otherwise. Some of the lore you learn from these quest even become relevant in a future archon or character quest, so I recommend you do them, at your own pace. You've already gotten the Seirai one, for the rest of them, you either have to do some other quests before being able to do them or you'll see their location on the map with a big blue mark. For the pink aure things you just need to use electro. I really like how you and Paimon have become so familiarized with the gods that you just don't view them as such anymore. The archon slander always get a good laugh out of me. I don't think Thoma was refering to the cat in Cat's Tail. After all, he was talking about Liyue. I think he meant the Adepti, most of them have animal form and they speak to you while maintaining that apperance. Have fun in Inazuma!

the only way you know if the game allows you to do something is to try and do it. It's not something you can figure out by thinking about it. eg. characters in the game may be lying or misleading. ps: as a non-streamer .. when i get to a new region, i explore everywhere first. Getting on with story is the last thing i do after i'm all explored out. The pressures on the streamer seem to force getting on with story tho. You have my comisserations.
It is against the Terms of Service to mod the game in any way, so you can do it but you are risking your account if you do because they will ban you if they catch you. pick up those bugs WHENEVER you see them, they are a GIANT pain to find if you ever get a character that needs them to level up >.< all Japanese G are hard G(goat, gay), soft G sounds (huge, gem) are covered by J's sound. the pink "aura headache"(lol) is a cloud of sakura to be collected... if you use electro on the cloud it'll condense into a pick-up-able item I'm pretty sure the thing the big samurai says when they are dying is "to the very.......end" but the end is said very weakly like a sigh as they are dying so it's sounds a little odd. Since you mentioned it..... it's a HUGE misconception in the English version of Genshin that Diluc and Kaeya are siblings, but this is not true. Kaeya was Diluc's father's ward, and the relationship the two have is one of "sworn brothers" (a popular Chinese literary trope, usually used to queer code relationships) because the translator used the phrase too literally when changing into English, ignoring it's implied meaning. It's caused a lot of drama in the English speaking fandom because people keep speaking over loads of CN speakers and insisting that they are literal brothers.
