Obvious NBC supports another pair there. I admit they actually made small error at the end which the lift was stumbled and the ending was not on time. But it did not affect their overall quality. I always like their free program this year. The Sci-Fi scene! Come on, how novel it is! We are all tired of these kind of love story on ice again and again. Not mention they did perfectly in short dance. They so deserve the champion there! Shame on NBC not putting on any their video online!
I wish there was a closer up video! There are many gorgeous ice dance couples right now who dance so beautifully together. But imo there are very few figure skaters in any discipline that have the exquisite artistry of Madison chock. There is something about her movement that make you think her soul is being poured onto the ice. I can't take my eyes off her and get chills and goosebumps all the way through. Congrats!!
Here we go with the mean and nasty comments. So much for sportsmanship and respect for the hard work the athletes put into this. More and more I’m leaning towards disabling of comments across the board. People, keep your manners in check and do something about your lack of human kindness

I adore Chock/Bates and desperately hope they win at the Olympics. HOWEVER, I don't think this program is going to do it. I'm not invested in it like I have been with others. Something is missing. I'm not being hateful and just stating a concern.

Russia livestreams their nationals FOR FREE to the entire world every year and NBC can't even post the programs of the ice dance winners. Disappointed again by NBC and their lack support for this sport.

Most times your eye is drawn to one or the other. As much as I enjoy the French duo (P&C), I find that I focus on him over her.

Madison is a such talented dancer. If they work hard enough skating with discipline and accuracy, keep improving their SS, they will get Olympic Gold in 2026. Madison is much better dancer than French lady is. And I like that smoke lilac color for Madison better
This routine has so many lifts in it it hardly ice "dancing". More like pairs skating. Plus there was a mistake made when she was standing on his knee. NBC commentators glossed over it like it was "strong" on his part to correct it but it definitely was a mistake.
I like them, but this routine doesn't really do anything for me, certainly not a standing O type of program/performance. They also seem slow as a they always do. Having said that, congrats on winning a 3rd National title.
I preferred Hubble and Donohue until I realized I might be biased by the camera positions. For Hubble and Donohue the camera went in close, but here the entire program was filmed from afar.

Nice routine but way too much like a pairs routine-what about the deep edges and dance positions of traditional ice dance-they are good but miss the classical dance of years gone by. Do they have to learn and perfect many different dance styles (tests and all) in order to advance like in years past?

I found my mind wandering while watching their performance. That did not happen during Hubbell and Donahue’s free skate - it was riveting!!!
I disagree. I was in the arena. Hubbell and Donahue were a bore. Chock and Bates were unique and intriguing. Crowd favorite.
I prefer H&D free dance but C&B’s short.

Не было легкости в исполнении. С ошибками. Также паре явно не хватает скорости (Эван «таскает» Мэдисон), конкуренты выступили гораздо лучше
