Joost would've won this for sure. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind about that. Just look at the crowd. I've never seen a crowd at the eurovision sing so loudly and party so hard! You could easily hear on live tv aswell.
I was at the live GF jury show and the amount of booing when it was announced Netherlands weren't performing was intense and increased when they panned to Martin O. We showed our love for Joost by singing and dancing to Europapa.
Be interesting what the allegation was to get him expelled from Eurovision. It was a very catchy and different song and I'm sure it would have done well.
@@leovanlierop4580 Makes you wonder why the other two went unreported to the police, which I still think is a bit over the top, but now you can't do anything without someone taking offence or reporting it. Shame he didn't get to perform and see how well he did in the contest.
i dont know much about the issue behind this but joost klein got disqualified before this video was taken, preventing him from performing on stage. Thats why they only watch joost on screen( it is his recorded previous performance)
@@luqmanhakim2138 yes I have understand now that if singers hasn’t come on the stage, they just play the previous performance on the screen. I saw for Switzerland, Ireland and Greece (kinda).
I was always bored by the ESC. Sometimes watched it (particially) sometimes I was glad I missed it. To much bombastic singing, singing out of tune etc). For some years my interest grew, also by the fact a new generation was watching and voting, not driven by (friended) politics. And than EBU, together with Sweden does this! You lost me again EBU. You’re like a Titanic, hard to steer in the right direction. Choosing the direction you want to go. Too woke, too much about money. Not caring about participating artists and their safety. While THE ARTISTS make the show. Not you, not camera women, not bloody Sweden. Without ARTISTS no ESC! But hey, die in peace, I don’t care.

....there is no excuse for violence!....any kind!....he showed what he is!....just a performer and actor!.....he would be great if he showed no response from any kind of provocation!.....and his song wouldn't be in the top 5 !.....sorry!....
