This is, as always, lovely. What a great way to use up scraps and the chunky embossing powder. I might suggest making a “handle” to hold the tile as you are heating it. I take a piece of card and using temporary adhesive fix it to the back of what you are embossing. That way you can use tweezers are whatever and you won’t leave a mark in the embossing.
Hi Jo! I really enjoyed this tutorial. Great idea for using up scraps and I'm glad you showed how to fix missed spots of powder. Thank you for sharing! Beautiful card!
Merci beaucoup de partager ce travail avec cette technique d'embossage que j'aime particulièrement. C'était très beau à l'image de Jo qui nous présente toujours de belles choses. ❤
Hello Jo Thanks for your tutorial today in blue using the bull rush stamp. I loved your end result. I am sending to you and "clever boy Eric" many hugs and kisses. From Canada, 🇨🇦 Jo xo
Hi Jo. I’ve not seen that done before. I quite like it. Yes I am also having a declutter and have given lots of paper and stamps that I haven’t used in years to the local primary school. I’m sure they’ll get many happy hours making projects. That care Jo.
What a pleasant surprise to see you today! The colors are fantastic and I love the Bullrushes. ( not sure I spelled it correctly) I really like the very faint moon also. The Embossing really makes a nice look to the Card. Thank you Jo for your inspiration. You are so sweet to make Card's for the Church. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I look forward to seeing you Monday! Much love to you and sweet Eric. Hug's, Bev Ann ❤
Jo, I love the moon on this card. It is a nice change. This is a definite card I must do. Thank you for inspiring other crafters. Have a wonderful weekend and great week. Lisa
A really beautiful card Jo, for so many occasions too. I love the colours you've chosen and the bullrushes are so pretty, thank you so much for your inspiration 💖
I love this idea Jo and suddenly realised I have given all my ultra-thick powder to my daughter-in-law who has just started stamping! Never mind, it will look just as good without the tile effect... lovely card thank you 😊❤
I love the subtle colors! I make cards for my church also! I so enjoyed hearing about your Eric! 😊 We had Chesapeake Bay retrievers! Very similar to Labs with almost identical faces, but a curly coat! I don’t know if you have any of them in the UK, they are in American breed, bred from Labs and Newfoundlands. My girls always loved their tennis balls also! Whenever I moved furniture, I always found one underneath! Gotta love those adorable pups!
Such a gorgeous way of using up those scraps. I love the field grass with bullrushes, so perfect for any occasion. The tiled effect is beautiful.❤ Thank you for explaining the difference between embossing and heat guns. ❤
