Hey that's pretty cool. Have fun on your way to mastery! I happened to come across a video for that. I don't know much about Just Dance...but it still looks crazy intense.
Joey: "...yes the drums do indeed go dum, they go stupid, they go 4 IQ, they go- they go MY IQ, THEY GO DUM!" Me: "I felt that on an emotional and spiritual level."
"Villain" is the creepiest, darkest song out there.. It is so unique.. You're gonna be so surprised when you hear it and I'm gonna enjoy it ver very much.. lol, can't wait
The fact that what we got with it is a toned down version because Riot thought the original was "too dark" makes me want that unedited, raw first version. That had to be INSANE!
"How many drum patterns are in this song" little did you know when you said that that the best was yet to come. I swear that drum n bass part always gets me
i feel like i "unlock" the better version of a song after i watch these videos. like i'll listen to a song 20 times then come here and Joey points out so many things i miss and the song just becomes so much better
They truly are monsterious when it comes to their track lay out and beat. Songs are so damn full makes a lot of other music sound empty. Also grats on the record I hope it is doing well and getting your name out there more. Always great to catch your reaction can't wait for villan
Fun fact, Bailey Sok is the one dancing in the video, she did the choreography for this song as well as K/DA - Popstars if I remember correctly. Talented young woman.
Dude, your content has really taken off. Your humor and comedy is on point, and your reactions are just so good. I always look forward to yours, because you notice so much that I don't and it makes the songs 10x better. Can't wait for Villain and I'll Show You
Something that I noticed about the "If you love to party..." part (before the "Drum go dum part") that really makes it ridiculously catchy is that she is almost exclusively singing p's and b's on the beat and it kinda gives it a beatbox vibe to me.
When you get the opportunity, I'm pretty sure you'd enjoy listening/reacting to individual League of Legends Champion Themes. When a new champion is released in the game, they more often than not have their own fully fleshed out theme that are all unique and practically characterizes respected champion. Some tracks the vocals are probably king, but there's a BUNCH of tracks that shine purely from an instrumental perspective. Here are some suggestions if you want a place to start and branch out from there: Pyke's Theme Jhin's Theme Camille's Theme Senna's Theme Sylas' Theme
The intro music reminded me of one winged angel from FF because of Sephiroths recent smash reveal Edit: I just realized it is his theme since I heard the "SEPHIROTH" chant at the end lol.
Ok ngl they do their running hi-hats so good. I'm not a music Producer, but i am a drummer of 6 years, and i have to say that KDA does so damn well with their tracks ESPECIALLY the buildups. Then they give off that little pause, and then the beat drop or sum like that. I haven't heard a song do that so well and so unique and clean in a long time. From a drummer's perspective, KDA is such a fun group to drum to and love getting hyped up with their music. As a listener, my god it's a earworm
i havent really actually realized until watching your video breaking down the more subtle parts of the music, there are so many drum patterns and beats in the vid, i really like how there are many beats it compliments Kai'sa cause basically this is her song and she is the dancer of the group. the Drum really go Dum
Joey Dude thanks for showing the chair, i stopped the video and preordered mine. Also after listening to K/DA for the last couple of weeks i cant get myself invested in other songs now because theyre so unique and special that i feel i discovered a whole new sort of music (for me). sad it wont be more songs for now. Thank you for all the breakdowns!
Oh god I was waiting for this video, let gooo !! This song is my fav one of the ep, the beat is too good. That drum'n bass at the end was really unexpected but really nice. Nice chair btw
I appreciate that you appreciate the layers of songs like this. I don't think I can ever really hear and understand them like you are meant to because I am deaf in one ear.😪
I love listening to your breakdown of the songs and gives me a new appreciation of the effort and composition that goes into makes these such a hit. Can't wait to hear Villain!
It's amazing to see how much detail they put on the songs!! By the way, on the League's Soundcloud profile they uploaded the instrumentals of each song n.n
I gotta say kda has quickly become one of my favorite girl bands and deserve to be on the list of great musicians and artists like eminem, eazy e, zardonic, eversense, nightwish and so on.
I love your reactions so much. I learn a lot about the music I already love, and after watching your videos I can appreciate all the hard work and understand WHY I love it so much!
I'd love for you to break some of these songs down to their elements, where you've had some time to break it down and explore it's decisions, like why that choice of synth or tempo. I'd love to get into your brain about deeper music theory.
aghhh lol this is what my ears want ... so jealous of your skills ... can't imagine how much harder this hits when you know what went into it! thanks for breaking it down!
*The chair though.*

I was listening to Villain and started to realize the amount of layers that song has and felt like "what is Joey doing to me"
Lmao. Me too.
The one that got me was “Take Over”, he really made me realize what exactly it is that makes a song “diverse”
K/DA: Releases Drum Go Dum
Nato: Yo, these drums go DUM!!
Many producer said the same thing: "The drum go really dum."
way to flex on the people that said you abandoned K/DA man
Ye.
i mean he did make a video specifically saying that he wanted to switch up the vibe and also wanted to do a KDA video when his new KDA chair came in
@@jinjoshorts must have missed that. still. this is a flex haha
He abandoned them but K/DA didn't XD

The intro was so fire bro 😂
The DnB vibe at the end really catches me.
Also in the end there's this part that resembles me of brazilian high bpm "funk"
The intro music reminded me of one winged angel from FF because of Sephiroths recent smash reveal

Can we get a new series when joey reacts to anime op's
"Tank!" from Cowboy Bebop would be glorious.
