1. High hats are a cymbal. They have a pedal that makes them open and shut. Usually, you'll see a drummer in a band setting a fast beat with the high hats and then the snare and bass drum overlay it. 2. Check out an old song - "Do You Feel Like We Do" by Peter Frampton. He sings his song through the guitar sounds, which add a "wahwah" like effect. It's one of the earliest examples of that type of music. Was a super popular album back in the 80's. 3. Yeah, music is divided into measures. A sixteenth note is 1/16 of a measure. So you have 16 notes per measure. That sets up a "tempo" to the music. 4. Melody is the like top part of the music. What most people remember. They're pretty sounding notes tied together. Rhythm is what backs up the melody and add depth to it. 5. Hooks are what get your attention. They're the part of the song that you'll "remember". What says "Hey, this is the chorus, you're gonna be singing this for weeks" 6. 80's had a lot of "synth" music in it, especially in the R&B scene. Lotta pretty sensual music. Should 100% just check out a nice old 80's music playlist. 8. The heart of the music. What sets the rhythm to the song. 9. The big bass drum in a drum kit is played with a kick pedal - so yeah. 11. Harmonies are where two different melodies are playing at the same time, but each of them is playing at a different note. This adds some depth to the song and overlays, creating more texture and overall "heart" to the music. I used to have friends in the music industry and did music for like 10 years, mainly guitar and drums. 10:13 I think what I understood of what mr. reactor was explaining was that Soyeon was given a difficult verse bc the rhythm was just consistent so she had to deliver it in a flow driven rap unlike the second rap verse that has more melody into it. Good thing Soyeon is a music producer and songwriter, she can deliver her verse damn too well.
To clarify, the second verse he was referring to was not sung by Soyeon. Starting at the line "Sorry for the bad news, sorry I'm so bad" and up until just before the pre-hook "I'm doing damage went just how I planned it" was actually sung by the VA for Kai'sa, whom I believe to be Wolftyla in this song (if Genius is correct). Soyeon only rapped the opening verse and the ending.
The whole song's a masterpiece, but there's something so badass about the 9:16 part. Whoever sings it goes down to a C#3 in both verses, and that rich, powerful timbre is to die for. So good!

Soyeon is a freaking ace, she was born to pull out attention in with her amazing skills !!! She is an incredible producer and songwriter too…. she really has everything.
Joey Nato, for whatever it’s worth I think both the breakdowns in your reaction videos and the music you create have improved a lot over the years. I’ve always appreciated your explanations for adding so much more depth to songs, especially when you bring attention to details that I don’t even register until you point them out, and that makes them feel so much richer. As for your music, it’s starting to sound more solid and dynamic compared to what it used to. The most important thing is that you are willing to teach others both in your videos, and now with the class you are looking to do. For that you have my respect. Good luck with things going forward and I look forward to you getting Bigger.
I kinda feel like someone that does Music for their living can listen to a song more different than most people can. Like when he said "perfect high hats kicking in" i had to go back listening for it o.O sick stuff here
They also have headphones made for let you listen the real sounds, without any proccesing in between, normal headphones or even gaming headphones have some equalizer for making sounds more inmersive, but in music industry they don't look for that, that's why they have different headphones. Those headphones make a huge difference btw, of course music producer are also accustomed to put attention to the details of what they listen
Rebecca Johnson (BEKUH BOOM) who produced the entire album and gave back vocals in this song too. BEKUH is known for being a producer for YG Entertainment, which means that, she produced for BLACKPINK, WINNER, iKON, BIG BANG and now for K/DA she produced the entire album in her Los Angeles studio.
are you sure? She is mentioned as a "executive Producer" and just Akali i mentioned. So iam not sure if she really took part in the prduction of this Song, or is it just for the "Lore" of K/DA that Akali produced the songs?
@@sentoo7606 that's why i put co-produce because she is not the main producer but she contributed in the song, she has produced the majority of her group songs ( (G) I-DLE) and i'm sure that in the future EP she'll take part of the production
Dude, I just gotta shout out how amazing your breakdowns are. I seriously enjoy your reactions to music because I have learned a lot more than I figured I would about producing music, and the power that certain styles and decisions can bring. You're truly one of a kind on this platform.
Everyone Stan (G)I-DLE! The rapper Soyeon holds the fastest female kpop rapper. Second fastest female Korean rapper. And top 10 fastest rapper of Korea. She's only 22 but she made multiple hits for her group (G)I-DLE. She composed and produced all their title tracks. Her lyrics are top notch as well. She also produce songs for other kpop artists. Miyeon, on the other hand, is one of Kpop's most unique voices and beautiful faces. (G)I-DLE as a group are multi talented with six crackheads. 😆
And that's not even the hole thing, it's a pre release, there's still missing the music video and a new member called seraphine, if you noticed, at the end it kinda finish the song randomly, that last part is seraphine's. The whole thing will be released in a couple months

Do not know if anyone’s commented about the champions so I’ma just spit some knowledge out because that’s what I like to do (long comment). Ahri: A burst mage, she’s normally known for assassinating targets at mid range. She can charm people to kill them easier. She has 3 dashes in her ultimate which gives her the mobility to land her spells much easier. However, she isn’t as efficient in single target assassinations compared to Evelynn, can’t deal as much consistent damage as Kai’Sa, and can’t excel in long fights like Akali can, shes more like a Jack of All Trades really. Although she’s currently known as the “slow everyone down” champion. Akali: a close quarters combat assassin who excels in assassinating single targets and fighting in prolonged team fights due to her abilities to stealth right in the enemies face and dash all over the battlefield. Her only drawbacks are her lack of crowd control (stuns, snares, etc.) her difficulty in playing, and that she’s melee which ranged champions like Ahri can abuse. Evelynn: is a close quarters assassin like Akali but is more suited to assassinating single targets. She also has stealth like Akali does and can charm like Ahri can. However, she is not that good in massive prolonged fights compared to everyone else so she either has to end the fight early or wait for opportune moments to strike. Kai’Sa: She’s known as an ADC (attack damage carry) who’s able to output a TON of consistent damage. She’s more suited for prolonged fights than anyone else listed here. If she’s ignored during a fight, expect her to absolutely melt everyone in the fight. She has stealth and a dash like everyone else but only can’t use them as often or as effectively compared to Eve, Akali, or Ahri can. But she makes up for that in pure damage. Hopefully this helps :D
Actually If You Do Not Know this is just A Pre-release And Its still Not the Full Version. What I know Soo far is that They Cut The Last part of the music its still has A Continuation to it. and I think They Will Drop The Full Version Of this One Maybe On October Or In the World's Tournament In league of legends
@@nhattran3499 yeah I think some people might be getting a _little_ carried away with their hype (not that I blame them!) but aside from Yasuo, the credits list "Akali" as a producer so I'm pretty sure that's just a lore thing with Akali producing for K/DA. Wouldn't surprise me if Soyeon actually did have a hand in the song though. But yes Soyeon is a very talented writer/composer who does most of (G)I-DLE's music :)
@@spritzy9188 Exactly my thought, cause according to lore Akali did help co-produced GIANTS with Yasuo so now she's kinda drag him to this project, maybe
Spritzy she co-composed all of her group’s title tracks, and she always write her own rap verses. I guess that’s what it meant to co-produce this too ^o^

technically there isnt actually much of a difference. youtube streams at 192 kbps, spotify premium at 320 kbps? either way when it comes to frequencies you are only missing a bit of the high end, hard to notice even with good headphones. spotify likely sounds better just because it is louder.

I feel like releasing a lyric video instead of a music video really made your reaction stand out so much more. Most people focus more on the visuals and appreciate the music as a part of it, but you focus almost entirely on the music itself. It's always nice to hear a more in-depth analysis of the music aspect, since so much effort goes into the songs themselves.
Thankfully i know everything what he says. I agree with him when he said 'thats how u use hihats' that was the cleanest use of hihats i have ever heard

And other thing was the voice modifiers, I love that shit

Soyeon's english improved so much 🥺 I love her so much 💕💜
I kinda feel like someone that does Music for their living can listen to a song more different than most people can. Like when he said "perfect high hats kicking in" i had to go back listening for it o.O sick stuff here
i just started loving trying to learn to make beats its like my hobby i take my time trying to learn
+ hd quality of music + legit headphones = definitely they appreciate songs more than average listeners
I don’t even know what a high hat is
Carmen Riley Mendoza It’s a pair of cymbals that are part of a drum set
They also have headphones made for let you listen the real sounds, without any proccesing in between, normal headphones or even gaming headphones have some equalizer for making sounds more inmersive, but in music industry they don't look for that, that's why they have different headphones. Those headphones make a huge difference btw, of course music producer are also accustomed to put attention to the details of what they listen
I would love it if you also did the K/DA popstars cover that Seraphine "did" (its just riot doing a cover of their own creation)
2nd this!! Seras cover is amazing!
the account of Seraphine on youtube also has stuff of Miley Cyrus etc. on it. Which is quite crazy just to make it believable xD
th-cam.com/video/aXKOIqpEUoc/w-d-xo.html not a cover, but he did pop/stars freestyle
Nah, childhood dreams is better

Soyeon the rapper for G-IDLE also produces a decent amount of the groups songs as well
Rebecca Johnson (BEKUH BOOM) who produced the entire album and gave back vocals in this song too. BEKUH is known for being a producer for YG Entertainment, which means that, she produced for BLACKPINK, WINNER, iKON, BIG BANG and now for K/DA she produced the entire album in her Los Angeles studio.
kda should be the star in her crown bc all those other groups, w the exception of bb, stole a load of shit / straight up Suck.

Is it just me or do you guys instantly feel smarter when you watch his vids?
My girl Soyeon co-produced the song, she is amazing
are you sure? She is mentioned as a "executive Producer" and just Akali i mentioned.
So iam not sure if she really took part in the prduction of this Song, or is it just for the "Lore" of K/DA that Akali produced the songs?
ಠ∀ಠ
@@sentoo7606 that's why i put co-produce because she is not the main producer but she contributed in the song, she has produced the majority of her group songs ( (G) I-DLE) and i'm sure that in the future EP she'll take part of the production
i would loved it if she did but she did not. its for lore purposes only

@@chubby_cheesecake_cheeks I know her ahh- it's just a precious artist!
And that's not even the hole thing, it's a pre release, there's still missing the music video and a new member called seraphine, if you noticed, at the end it kinda finish the song randomly, that last part is seraphine's. The whole thing will be released in a couple months
How do you know there would be Seraphine in their team?
@@games4us132 Her KDA skin was leaked
@@xaviermm5506 I mean, you're being completely speculative about this. Of course Seraphine is apart of their team. Her being in this song is completely out of no where. You're just guessing. Quit making baseless claims.
@@xaviermm5506 that leak was proven to be fake. It was a edited fan art from a picture she posted on her account and if you even look at it you'd notice its a completely different art style and much lower detail and easy to see it was photo shopped in.
@@roelcortez785 proof? the hairstyles of the current 4 members all matched up, and this was two days before they were all announced. and when I say hairstyles, I mean down the the color of them. akali has a color that you cant just guess, but the leak did.
🤷♂️
I’ll like this comment either way
I use ahri to ambush clueless enemies nearby
Maybe all watching here is a LoL player😁👌

Holy shit, thank you for analyzing the "Break the Rules" part. I was so amazed and having someone who is a music producer explain it really helps.

Gotta say, I love what you're doing. I usually watch a lot of reaction videos but you're one of the few people that actually add something meaningful, instead of just gaping at the screen and pretending to like it.
Talking about "staying on brand", the most staying-on-brand part imo is the pre-hook(the 80's stuff one). It is very similar to the laundry part in Pop Stars.
May I say that I just love Soyeon so much... God this girl
Can I just say, its amazing how fast you made this video. Within a few hours of the K/DA song you already made a full reaction. Good stuff!
As soon as this pre-single dropped, I thought, "now I gotta wait a month for Nato to react... little did I know. Great job! I can't wait til you need to react to the full EP.

Great video man. Your reviews are more detailed than most of reviewers that just go "Oooooouh, Aaaaaaah". All songs you have reviewed from league, you have pointed out very interesting things and that make you better and the others. Any way, thumbs up hoping the algorithm will grab you more views!
I love how genuinely mind-blown you are. I've loved all of your React videos too, and this wasn't any different. Hope to keep seeing you doing these types of videos!
not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but league also has a huge handful of login screens they used to use on the client with /really/ awesome music. i would recommend checking them out / listening (not necessarily reacting, since its just a moving wallpaper lmao) to them because. woah. almost cried listening to one while working

I've been waiting for reactors to comment on that ending synth-base and you're actually the first one to address it! thank you!
