  • I couldn’t find my chopstick so the next best thing is the rounded edge of a spoon handle. This also enables you to make some sliding moves if you use a cream or lotion to massage with.
    Getting the micro tension out of the toes is important in order to get rid of other tension higher up.
    Using a spoon for massage, also known as spooning massage or Gua Sha, can offer several benefits, particularly for relieving tension and promoting relaxation. Here are some potential benefits of using a spoon for massage:
    Muscle Relaxation: The rounded edge of a spoon can be used to apply gentle pressure and friction to tense muscles, helping to release knots and tightness. This can promote relaxation and alleviate muscle tension.
    Improved Circulation: Massaging with a spoon can stimulate blood flow to the area, which can help promote healing and reduce inflammation. Increased circulation can also help alleviate pain and stiffness in the muscles and joints.
    Lymphatic Drainage: Gua Sha techniques, which involve scraping the skin with a spoon, can help stimulate the lymphatic system, promoting the removal of toxins and waste products from the body. This can help reduce swelling and promote detoxification.
    Facial Rejuvenation: Facial Gua Sha, using a smooth spoon to massage the face, is believed to promote circulation, reduce puffiness, and stimulate collagen production. It can help improve the appearance of the skin by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles and enhancing facial contours.
    Stress Reduction: Like other forms of massage, using a spoon for massage can promote relaxation and reduce stress levels. The gentle pressure and rhythmic movements can help calm the nervous system and induce a sense of calm and well-being.
    Pain Relief: Spoon massage can help alleviate pain and discomfort caused by tension, muscle knots, or tightness. By promoting relaxation and improving circulation, it can help reduce pain and stiffness in the muscles and joints.
    Release of Fascia Adhesions: Gua Sha techniques can help break up fascia adhesions, which are dense areas of connective tissue that can restrict movement and cause pain. By loosening these adhesions, spoon massage can help improve range of motion and reduce pain.
    Energizing Effect: Some people find that spoon massage can have an invigorating effect, helping to boost energy levels and promote a sense of vitality.
    When using a spoon for massage, it's important to use gentle pressure and avoid applying too much force, especially on sensitive areas or bony prominences. Additionally, it's advisable to use a smooth-edged spoon to prevent skin irritation or injury. If you have any underlying health conditions or concerns, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional before trying spoon massage or any other form of self-massage.

      I will say that will hurt because of the tip, use a smoother end not as painful. The tip of the toes feels like glass, can only stand it for a few secs and then stop.

    • @ricknmorty7732
      @ricknmorty7732 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Tattoos aren’t really that painful, just feels like hot pressure and it has a goal which looks nice (debatable) but it’s not the same and you don’t get tattoos on the tips of your toes. Ankle tattoos can hurt but hers isn’t large- it wouldn’t take that long

    • @brandonraynor
      @brandonraynor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      That’s a good question. I can only speculate as to the answer as I have never seen any scientific papers on it and I haven’t cut any of it out and looked at it. I think it may be some sort of acids that have crystallised. Most people believe that they are uric acid crystals but some new studies say they are increased nerve fibres. The interesting thing is that you can break them up.
