It's mikuover 😭😭😭
It’s MEIKOVER😭
@@MeekoNyaITS RINOVER😭😭
i see how project diva future tone and megamix had high production value costs, but its honestly hard for me to believe megamix+ on steam had a high production cost lol, its basically just a straight port of megamix with just a few new features, not even any new songs (hachi hachi flower fight doesn't count, that song's always been in the arcade diva ports but they just removed it from the game's song list but hardcoding the game to skip it in game lmao)
this is kind of the reason i hate pjsk, i loved what project diva gave us so much but sekai kinda feels like it has less love and effort put into it, doesnt help that i already hate sekai's gameplay anyway.
I mean, they do have different focuses where sekai focuses more on the characters rather than just being a rhythm game. It has tons of love put into that aspect, so its not fair to compareit to a game on pc
Yeah, in this case this all boils down to Sega and Crypton neglecting Project Diva. They could have kept the game exciting by just adding new songs. Fans would still have been appreciative of new songs to play even if they’re wasn’t an original 3D MV to pair with the song. I know I personally wouldn’t have minded just the original music video as long as the newer vocaloid hits would be added.
With so many of the original developers leaving Sega, there just isn’t anyone who really cares for that franchise. Thankfully the modding community is still thriving it seems.
modding community and f 2nd servers still being up is the only thing keeping us going lol
But why they just doesn't port Sekai to consoles or pc? like they just need to add diva like charts, there is no need to create a new game 😭
There have been rumors of a Sekai PC port but nothing officially announced by Sega. We'll see what happens!
@@MissedComboswithLauraNeuzeth I can imagine it being an announcement for the 4th anniversary if its true - the leaker was pretty trustable as far as i've heard of them
I’m pretty sure there were also rumors of a system where you can transfer cards to different versions of the game
@@ttroina I hope this isn't true unless Sega really upgrades their servers. It seems that the servers aren't strong enough for the current amount of players. Them having to suspend cheerful carnivals and admitting to the server issues each month is getting tiring.
@@MissedComboswithLauraNeuzeth We’ll never know until it gets announced
It will be cool if they added a project, diva in a mobile game
It would! Honestly I would pay for that.
Honestly i first played project diva on my friends psp and never played it later because I couldn’t access it since i did not had the console. Project sekai can be said as my first rhythm game. A game being accessible for mobile or multiple devices it will be more popular. If project diva was in mobile or other platforms I would’ve for sure continued to play it.
i was just playing project diva now lmao
f 2nd piapro servers going down is going to be like the burning of the library of alexandria for me, i really don't understand they probably have some of the most money they have ever had to put towards miku financially from project sekai and they completely decide to drop the franchise, it's disappointing because diva fans didn't really get our one last game or anything to say goodbye to the series with... i personally am one of those salty diva fans that doesn't like sekai too much simply because i can't get into the tap tap playstyle and find it boring, but diva games are getting so old now, i'd do anything for one last game with edit mode so it would have a long lifespan for the players ;-;
there's also issues with sekai's graphical effort, too, i recall they updated the graphics but the game still feels very thrown together and looks kinda choppy, i loved the module system in diva, i don't want to have to whale out on gacha for cute outfits to play with for pvs that aren't really iconic or enjoyable out of some cute choreography, i kinda saw this coming back with x but hoped for the best anyway, sekai is definitely a game for gacha enjoyers who like the characters, but as a purely vocaloid fan it's a let down that diva is dead ughhhhhhhh i'm in pain
Yeah, it's such a letdown. Diva fans never got a proper goodbye to the series, not sure what Crypton was expecting as the response when they casually dropped this in an interview.
Sekai MV's do look better than they originally did but when compared to Diva, they lack a lot. There is never a storyline for the MV's, unlike with Diva. Even compared to other mobile rhythm games, Sekai falls short since they do very simple camera pans to each member. Enstars and the Idolmaster Shiny Colors Song for Prism have much high quality in-game MV's with better camera work, movement, and ambient lighting.
I do hope that they change their minds and give us a new Diva game down the line.
We all know it has been dead since X but it still stings to hear it out loud haha. Also pretty funny when SEGA complains about bad sales from DIVA when they couldn’t do jack shit to make new or original content. What a shocker, crappy content = bad sales, who would have thought.
btw i am not calling mega mix crappy just saying it is lacking content wise and just a port of future tone + ugly shading, and a t shirt editor.
Exactly! They comment about the lack of sales but they didn't really give us any new or original content in years for us to keep supporting this franchise. I've had this conversation with friends but I think a lot of fans would have been happy getting new charts to play with with that song's MV. They could have gone that route if they were really tight on money to produce a brand new 3D MV.
Are they gonna let ppl continue to buy the game? Cuz I rlly want megamix+ when I have my own pc
As far as I know, yes. I just don’t think they plan to provide updates in the future but if you get the PC version I know there’s several mods available and that community is still active constantly providing new songs and even modules.
@@MissedComboswithLauraNeuzeth oh alr
@@MissedComboswithLauraNeuzeth theres a TOOOOOOON of different mods!
i highly recommend getting mega mix+ just for that, its very easy to mod
Is it still playable??
Yes, it will be! They just won't be doing more updates to the game unfortunately.
@@MissedComboswithLauraNeuzeth ty!!!
Its meikover
Sega is so rude. It’s her 20th anniversary next year and then they pull this. 😒 the disrespect.
I mean I will say that projects can fund other projects! They just said that their current focus is on Sekai, whose to say that they may use the money gained from that for more diva content? It is all about perspective! Although I will say that Sekai shows me that the current team at Sega no longer treats the project games with as much love as they used to. Yes, project diva takes a lot to produce but it was because the developers loved it and actually cared for it. Sekai just seems like a bastardised version of the rhythm game :/
I hope so! I know it had become a meme on Twitter that now Project Sekai could fund Project Diva. The problem with the Diva franchise is that the key developers all have left Sega which is another reason why the franchise was so neglected. They would need to re-hire them or new developpers that are passionate about the Diva franchise.
