    you can use an LED light unless you wire an load equalizer resistor in the bulb circuit as the same to use to make automotive turn signals flash correctly. as Gm 10si, 12si, the vw air-cooled alternators some Leece-Neville and others the warning light has to function for it to charge.

    At 5:25 Why not get a simple plastic cover to cover the Electric wires and weather protected. Gives you the option to put the key horizontal. Also Less risk of losing it or breaking it off in the switch.

    is this the same way you would do a conversion on a Ford Jubilee?

    What’s the purpose of the solenoid ? For key start instead of push button ? And amp gauge, using one ?

    can the amp. gauge still be used? if so where in circuit should it be added?

    Are you still using the 6 volt coil?

    Hi I have a 1952 Ford 8n tractor that was converted to a a 12 volt --- but I think the wiring was done wrong
    I was watching your video and I also have a 4 point ignition switch
    Is there any way you can send me a wiring diagram to put the wiring in the right place

    do you have to change the pulley due to the size of the belts

    When you change from a 6 volt to a 12-volt do you have to change the light bulbs tail lights or not

    • @williamdavidson9009
      @williamdavidson9009 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably you have the answer by now, but yes you need to change to 12 volt bulbs. 6 volt bulbs will burn out instantly on 12 volts.

      Yes

    can a resistor be used on lighting circuit and not change bulbs?

    • @bendenard5617
      @bendenard5617 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes but it would be a waste of money and time. Much easier and better light to just swap them to 12v

    do you have to change the starter

    • @williamdavidson9009
      @williamdavidson9009 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      6 volt starters are built well enough to run on 12 volts for a long time so you can continue to use the 6 volt starter
