Thank you , thank you !!!!!!!! Perfect video!!! I don’t know that my 1975 ct90 has the small metal washer in it . And I’ve already reassembled the head . Should be fine I hope 🤞🏼?
I saw your question & thought this video would put your mind at rest. The washer was probably stuck in the head & you didn't notice it was there. Glad the video helped.
Ahh - this head looks to be in much better shape than the original. Thanks for posting - very good video. (But we didn't get to see the fun of compressing the spring and getting the valve keepers. I sure it went off without any problems....) - Thank you.
Thanks, yeah this head is much better, sorry the camera didn't pick up the collets, usually there's much messing about but these went in first time, much to my surprise!
Hi there. Another great video thanks. Does it matter which way up the large valve spring seat washer goes? It seems to have a sharp edge and a rounded edge. Or am I imagining things?
Thanks David, I couldn't see any specific mention in the old manuals & as a guess from new I'd say it makes no difference. But yes I'd suggest if there's some wear giving a sharp or ridged side it would fit toward the spring. The inner spring seat is much more obvious in the way it fits.
Good stuff , see you for the next one 👍
Thanks, I'm struggling to find parts for the old 90 hope to continue the videos soon.
thank you
Thanks mate!
