Keep your eye on GiTi...good reviews from Europe. In the US, they are OEM supplier to VW for the Passat sedan, and produce the tires here in the US. They are fitted to 18" and 19" rims for the Passat, and cost much less than a similarly sized Bridgestone tire ($116 for GiTi vs $171 for Bridgestone).
I know this is not true. I worked for Michelin for 13 years up to 2020 and we would have meetings every week about this. Michelin was #1 in sales and technology!

I'm assuming this includes supply to car manufacturers? For a normal everyday car the likes of Michelin, Pirelli are ridiculously overpriced. I've used Toyo's for years. Now for sportier cars it's a different story
