I’ve been using the v2 roster since it came out and I love it. The complexity and setting changes on how they affect the roasts are awesome. This video was great, just found it !!
Fabulous insight into the designer's intent of the power, fan, and drum settings. Particularly the detail around pre-heat and back to back roasting. Thank you for sharing this knowledge.
Hello RR, I found your channel maybe 2 months ago. You helped give me a real understanding of the roasting process. My coffee is getting very good. No tipping, scorching, craters, and other defects. I know I still have a few things to learn, and that is OK. Thank you so very much for sharing the information with us. 😊😊 ☕️ ☕️ ❤️ 💙 💜
If I start at charge temp of 250 degree for 500 gram as suggested in this Q&A, for an excellent roasting process, what is the typical temperature at 1:00 and 2:00, and the rate of rise at 2:00 (which it is said here it reach the peak of ror)? Thank you.
What is the ambieint temperature range for the bullet, particularly the lower range? I'm considering using it from my unheated garage where temperatures can average 5-12°c . Will the bullet perform adequately at these temperatures?
if it's not recommended to go below D7, why not do a firmware update to make the RPM of D7 lower to that of say D3 or whatever, to allow for more "usable" drum speeds. Instead of having 9 but can only really use 2 or maybe 3. why not offer the ability to have a greater usable amount?

10°C to 30°C is recommended. I already roasted at lower temperatures, but roasts might geht remarkably slower.
Is it enough to vacuum through the bottom access port in between the batches? Or I have to really remove the chaff box and vacuum it?
Between batches you can take it off and shake it empty.
