    Man, I've been looking for pallet DIY videos around here on TH-cam and this is the VERY FIRST that really TEACHES the basics ans SHOWS how to do it!
    Thank you and greetings from Portugal.

    Dig it. Nice work and very informative. I must say though, if you must buy new screws; always go for the starbit. Far superior and less stressful in nearly every way.. Phillips is second to last only to flathead. There is usually some oak in pallets, VERY hard wood.

    I LOVE, LOVE what you did with the scrap wood for stability! I initially used commercial zip ties to hold (being on my own) and then used L brackets and long flat brackets to hold together which was becoming a bit pricey ($6.00 a piece for brackets)! The scrap wood is most definitely a better idea!!

    Very informative, thanks, I'm putting my wall on a concrete driveway that I definitely cannot put holes into the ground, I expect it will be about 5 pallets long, kinda in the fashion of a queue line/maze I can zip tie to patio posts. But the ideas for joining then together was why I was looking, so thanks muchly for that, I'm hoping it's at stable as I can make it!

    for more stability you could drive some stakes into the grass and connect them to the pallets

    HEY, VERY HELPFULL. Just starting with building a small shed. Problem 1was I didn't put the 2x4's top and bottom. I am ok as
    I just used small pieces of 2x4 to stabilize. not as solid, but ok. Putting my roof on next.

      It was put on rails, had pneumatics, tail/brake/reverse lights worked, MP3 sound, and fog from the exhaust. I was called "The Prop Car." It was used in our Haunted House and it would "back up" and scare people. :)

    5:53 I know this is a lil too late for a correction but it should be "the pallet on top is BIGGER than the one that's supposed to be there". That had me confused for a bit when you said SMALLER

    • @Beyond1031
      @Beyond1031  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha, yes you are correct. I get my words mixed up some times. :O

    • @Beyond1031
      @Beyond1031  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just rewatched it, I had meant to say that, "The one on the BOTTOM is smaller than the one you have to put there." Oops. LOL

      @modeljetjuggernaut4864 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Beyond1031 hey while I have you here, gotta question. On the 90 degree stable points, do you just use one pallet for that or go two high. And do you have to do the same on the other side? Thanks!

    • @Beyond1031
      @Beyond1031  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@modeljetjuggernaut4864 I'm not sure I get what you mean, but at every 90 degree corner there are two pallets high, and they are connected on the top and the bottom. The more stable, the better. HTH?

      @@Beyond1031 Hey there. Yeah I constructed my entire fortress last Halloween, thanks to your informative techniques. And would ya believe, the HOA thought I was building a fence. And then the HOA prez sent out the Fire Chief and the City to see if I was creating a hazard. Needless to say, those guys thought it was the coolest thing. HOA pres was pissed, and of course the stoopid neighbor across the street was pissed when we were all smoking and joking with the city officials about it.

    Why wouldn't you use pallets of the same size and height for each teir

    • @Beyond1031
      @Beyond1031  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you get scrap pallets, they're usually all different sizes, as was the case here. Besides, it's easy to connect them if they're all the same - I wanted to demonstrate how to do it when they're not all the same. Thanks for your question!
