I’m 65 years old and am constantly looking for music that just grabs my soul. I can’t listen enough to Red Clay Strays. Don’t Care was my introduction to this amazing band and not a day goes by since that I don’t listen to this multiple times a day!
RCS are one of a kind. I like to describe them as country Elvis with Led Zeppelin drums. I have been fortunate to see them in small venues. My advice is to see them when you can before they hit the big concert hall level
I was listening to the amazing Chris Stapleton and these guys were on his Spotify playlist. I heard them and The Red Clay Strays are now my favorite band❤. Thanks for your awesome reactions🎉
Saw them last September at a local festival for free!! Awesome band!! Brandon has a voice that is just amazing!! Went back to see them again last month at a concert that was fairly close.
These are hometown boys from Mobile, AL. I’ve seen them many, many times and never left disappointed. Been rooting for them since their beginning. I actually work with the singer’s sister
No one does tempo changes better than these guys. Really hard to capture in modern studio setting, which is why they recorded their album old school style with a microphone and a room. And @redheadedneighbor they just extended their Way Too Long tour into next year with your dates in the Deep South in January, Feb, and March. Won’t be able to see them in these smallish venues for much longer, and it’s WELL worth a trip.
Yessss finally got to your reaction to "first time" hearing the Strays. I know you were wanting to do a deep dive, right then. But, for the sake of your channel, you couldn't 😢😅. So glad I drifted into your "Neighborhood". All the feels💜
That drummer was having a ball! New band for me but I liked that. The singer has a great voice too. It will be fun to see some more of them when you get to them. It definitely had a rock edge to it which I liked.

I’ve seen them twice so far. Such a great band, unique sound. Can’t wait to see how far they go

BTW, I’m 65 also!! Seems to be a combo between Elvis & The Beatles as far as predicting their popularity. Young & old both love them!!

Thank you so very much!🥹
Wondering why is a banger too 😅

Lead singer looks like if young Johnny cash and Elvis had a baby
Exactly
Forgive is a great song so is Heavy Heart.
I want to hear everything
I want to hear them all
Kinda reminds me of the Seattle grunge scene.
It does doesn’t it. With a country kick
So cool! What a pedigree. Mobil Alabama! Is that Elvis territory?
Close!! Elvis was from Mississippi. But so much music has come from Alabama…
First
Go see them live. 10x better than these studio clips.
I HAVE TO!!!
