Bioneer, sir; in yer videos related to brİain and mind progress, ye always forget to mention the very most important things: intellectual endevours, and guys plz read these carefully and do try to implement it on yer lives. The intellectual endevours can be constituted in 4 or 5 categories:
      1- Philosophy/theology
      2- Natural sciences
      3- Social sciences
      4- Arts
      5- Applicable sciences
These are all the fields that are about the "content" of existence; meaning these are about the essence of existence itself therefore; being busy with these not only makes the mind and imagination and analytical skills and verbal skills and awareness (and other fields of the soul, if there's such a thing as soul) much sharper and stronger and detailed; but also gives us information, content information of existence as a whole and its parts. Thus; both reading, consuming these areas, and trying to produce these, meaning trying to add to these areas; are helpful in countless aspects. THese areas mostly are directed towards the target of making us closer and closer to "the wisdom, the truth", maybe we can only exclude the 5th category from this, as the fields on that category are more like tools, rather than being on the existence and its parts themselves; but even the 5th category helps us understand the existence much better, by getting connected to the fields in the first 4 categories. Thus, to improve mind and soul; these intellectual areas are the key and essential points; but of course; strategy games and hobbies such as chess, GO, sudoku, carpentry, gardening, photography eand all that other stuff do help too as great supporters, but never are theythe essentials. One thing I will mention here is arts category, the 4rd one, as people don't know how to approach and conume art-cvlture at all, well the most people. Ye don't just scroll on a painting or a cinema movie fer example; no. Instead; first and foremost ye read some basics on that art area, just to get a bit sense of what it is in general. Then, ye look at a painting; ye observe, ye try to realize different colors and shapes, ye try to realize what is studied and told in the painting craft, ye try to get the soul state that the art tries to give. Ye realize its content and ways. Then of course, ye refer to the professional on that area, about the analysis of that particular art work. Ye do that fer all art areas; cinema, theatre, painting, sculpture, architecture, dancing, music, opera, calligraphy, lieral arts, martial arts etc.... Well, actually the ART SIDE of the martial arts are included in dancing anyways......

John Cena was a guest on Seamus's Celtic Warrior Workout channel and he talks about initially spending most of his time powerlifting/powerbuilding, but then he did some movies in China and when he worked out with Chinese trainers, he started focusing much more on mobility and flexibility. He said he lost a tiny bit of strength, but also lost all sorts of pain and stiffness he had over the years.

Yep, when I first started training, all I wanted to be was an "action hero" like Batman, but a lot of fitness advice doesn't seem to translate to that. When you do start training with more purpose and focusing on improving performance that actually translates into the real world, training becomes a lot more rewarding and fun.

I trained like a "bodybuilder" for 17 years religiously and by the end I had chronic knee, lower-back, shoulder and wrist problems all my right side. I started functional training 9 years ago to address these imbalances and they have all virtually gone away.

@Kenny36905 fair (and refreshingly intelligent) question. I've thought about the balance between curriculum and socializing. It's not easy for sure. For the lifestyle we lead, it works, and they do have social interactions with their peers, just not on a "forced-to-be-next-to-another-daily" scale. They have freedoms, but also responsibilities that go well with said freedoms.

As a father I'm thankful to see another father out there doing his best to cultivate themselves. For me, the body is not the final frontier, but the gateway towards It. In the poetry of William S. it's crazy, i found your channel about five years ago or so and remember when this first began. i was extremely interested and then life happened. this type of training has always been something i've want to come back to, but when i was younger i would get distracted by wanting to just be as strong and big as possible. now that i'm older, here i am again. i've been changing up routines and training plans/diets for years to achieve results, but i've always been drawn back to functional training because i knew it was what i wanted to transition to as i got older instead of risking injury.
i think at this point though i am ready to make the switch and start working on my functionality and longevity instead of just pure strength and mass. i was a cardio machine when i was younger, and i think because of that i always desired to get big and strong since that was lacking from my personal fitness/physique. it's interesting this video was suggested, although i guess not completely random, cause i've been searching for a new program to implement in order to achieve actual performance and a better quality of life.
anyways, thank for the content, and i will for sure be diving into your videos again and purchasing your ebook to start this new journey.

Funny I've been training like this my entire life since I was in my teens. This is pretty much what I do. A mixture of calisthenics body weight training overcoming isometrics and some weight training. It's how I've trained my whole life. So this is really cool. Good for you man that's good stuff. Maximizing strength while keeping an aesthetic athletic and flexible build. I've used everything from giant tractor tires heavy bags and even brake pads. And I'm 41 years old today and I'm still built and can perform like I was in my twenties.

your videos are always interesting. i have trained my entire life in a variety of disciplines and i'll be 70 this year. i might be a bit of a program hopper, but i've found it difficult to train efficiently in contradictory directions simultaneously. but, i still strive to be well rounded, as difficult as that is to achieve.

Couldnt agree more with this. From teenage years of Parkour to 4 years in the Army Infantry to on going Martial arts training has definitely given me a physical variety and edge. A lot of people look at me and think I'm slow and lack agility cause I'm 5'9 and 100kg and stocky but they always get a surprise. Current goals are definitely lose 10kg and get better hip mobility.

I love your approach that includes training the mind and every aspect of movement. I focus a lot on strength as I believe it to be the cornerstone of health and fitness, but I have also seen the sacrifices people make like lack of mobility and cardio. Clients I've worked with show growth not only in their strength numbers and muscle mass but also in their confidence outside the gym. The crossover is profound and training the mind will also help when it comes to testing your limits in the gym or facing your fears outside of it.

This video came when I needed it most. I’ve been doing weight-training, various high intensity training alongside judo and boxing for about 2 years - and recently i’ve just felt completely burnt out. The ceiling of life, especially being a parent, really woke me up. I’ve definitely learnt that it’s not necessarily taking your foot off the pedal, it’s reducing the speed that’s important.

My daughter has been competing in gymnastics for years. Alot of what was shown in this video is how they train. In my opinion, gymnastics is the most well-rounded sport above every other. They also have mental training. It's very well balanced. This is my first time on this channel, awesome video, very inspirational and honest. Great Job.

tip for the punching, try to turn your fist more, like rotate your fist so its horizontal so it lands with your knuckles facing up, i could help you get those parkour moves done the right way aswell
