While not rated as highly as it used to Franklin's shows why they're one of the best to do it on today's food guide. Barbeque essentials Beef Ribs, Pork Ribs, Brisket & Sausage with all the sides I got to experience the true Austin BBQ scene, and Franklin's did not disappoint. With some of the best Barbeque Meats I've had stacking up to other BBQ joints I have. Sides were no frills with staple side dishes that don't vary too far from traditional barbeque standards. With a line wrapping around the building hours before opening. The aura Franklin's exudes shows this is the go to place for Barbecue when visiting Austin despite it not even being the highest rated. I want to recommend that you go to Goldees that you hit up Burnt Bean Company in Seguin, Tx. It is killer BBQ. Texas Monthly joint.
