I had the pleasure of seeing this live in 2001 during her tour stop in New Orleans. This is still, hands down, the greatest performance I’ve ever witnessed FROM ANYONE! I’ve been to several concerts since then and nothing compares.
This entire performance was just pure fucking épic. This entire routine was her toughest and fucking best she nailed it. Emotion, technique, drama, physicality, remind me thé was back when artist actually gavé us a show. I miss Janet. Always thé Queen in my book

I don't know how this was not played on the radio when she made this as I think it's one of the best on the album. Whoever wrote the music...hats off to you. And the lyrics....💋. Again..the Muscians in this ARE🔥🔥🔥 FIRE🔥🔥🔥. Listen to this song with your headphones, earbuds, whatever. She has a full orchestra behind her. Great, great, great.

The staging/costumes (masks) make me think of "You" on the velvet rope tour. This song is the best song on the All for you album in my opinion. I feel so sorry for her dancing in heels though, that must be uncomfortable.

She was not afraid to whip out the jeans, cargo pants, and combat boots so she could be comfortable while doing all those complicated dance routines. Prince ONLY wore heels for 40 years straight. Honestly I like this song in concert better than when it was recorded because the percussion section was drum kit instead of an electric hip hip kit but the live band sounds better than the recording period also playing drums is hell's fun
