    I liked the double Parkinsonia with some exposed body chambers - it was only the very centre that wasn't preserved. The Cenoceras was beautiful too and Scunthorpe specimens are always fantastic, even more so with multiples on the block.

      Thanks. I cant complain with my haul this time though I'm not a fan of the ripped parkies. I was hoping they would take back. They obviously can be a bit fickle. I'll certainly be back down south for some more!

    Volume 39 of Der Steinkern is not a bad reference for those Bajocian ammonites from Burton Bradstock, as it focusses on Sengenthal, which is a similar exposure to BB with a lot of the same and similar ammonites.

    I think that first awful big ammonite is either Bigotites or Procerites. Google seems to suggest it's a Biggo. Weird that a lot of the Burton stuff is a bit nasty.
