    I really like and appreciate the effort you put into your vlogs. I love that you take footage of the area you're in rather than filming yourself in the area as many other vloggers do. Thank you for your videos, I can't wait to get back to Japan again next year.

    Hi Christie.I have been watching your videos since a month now and they are excellent. I have got some very interesting book recommendations from you that I am definitely going to read. Just to let you know that I am going through a very depressing time in my life and your videos help me take my mind off all those problems. Thanks and God bless you:)

    Bummed that this will be the last Japan vlog, but I've really enjoyed them! I think you did a great job of including bits of you discussing your experiences while also allowing enough time for us to "travel" with you to the places and enjoy the scenery and lovely music. Well done!

    Looks like you had an amazing time in Japan. It is so nice that the borders are open to come back to Japan. Hope the plane trip home was ok, usually I’m in tears when boarding the plane.

    Very nice video. I too believe that Hiroshima and Nagasaki is a must see.
    I was an exchange student in Kumamoto for my junior year in high school. While you saw two of the top sites in Kumamoto, you missed so much. The people, culture and food is amazing. I am returning for the first time in 43 years this September, and bringing my children so they can experience everything they've been hearing about since they were born.
    I hope that you can plan another trip to Kumamoto. The island of Kyushu could fill a two week holiday very easily!

    Man, those pictures from the peace museum were achingly sad. Hopefully we can see a time where nuclear weapons are no longer necessary. The rest of the trip looked beautiful and that deer was really cute!

    Hello Christy! What a wonderful video 🥰
    I am curious as to how did you manage your luggage during your trip and the many shinkansen rides. I heard that many trains don't really have a lot of space for suitcases and that it can be difficult to transport them. Would you recommend a giant backpack or a big suitcase for someone who is going to travel all over Japan?
    Thank you!

    • @christy-anne-jones
      @christy-anne-jones  ปีที่แล้ว

      Our bags are small enough to fit in the overhead compartments 😊 If they were bigger, we would need to book the 'oversize luggage seats' in advance. Generally, in Japan I'd recommend having a smaller bag bc trains are squeezy and hotels are small, but you can still use a normal sized suitcase. Just not a mammoth one. Here's the website with the sizing: global.jr-central.co.jp/en/info/oversized-baggage/ Hope you have a lovely trip 💛

    Your choice to not be intrusive at the Hiroshima Museum and Peace Park said a lot about yourself. It is the saddest, most heartbreaking place I’ve ever experienced. It is quite difficult, as you are finding out what each memorial truly means, not to fall to pieces crying. I almost didn’t watch this vlog, just because I feared how you handle that area, but I should not have worried. Thank you
