Past classes for precision rifle / tac precision rifle were a TON of info in such a short time…. These vids are an excellent, step by step review with some new information added. Thank you!
I was like no way would I use that last reticle, way to much stuff. Then after Mr. Owens explained it I was like oh man that is some awesome stuff, I want one! Good job teaching, much appreciated.
Yet another no bullshit , right to the point talk about reticles from the man who knows. Thanks Kevin for making it so simple to understand. The better a teacher understands his subject matter, the easier it is to break it down and simplify it for those who are just beginning to learn. You do that very well. Thank you for your time and experience and men like you for putting bad guys in the ground so the world can sleep a little better tonight. Keep sending the work>
Great video! So a BDC would be an EASY choice for a DMR rifle but the TRMR 3 would be the best choice for Long Range Precision. Thanks again, Kevin! Passing this along to my friends!
I am really enjoying this series. I look forward to each additional entry. You give the essential information in an easily understandable and digestible form that really helps me. Thanks for taking the effort. I really appreciate it.
I have a question you're running a Peck 15. Did not see a pressure pad. Are you anti pressure bad. Just wondering I have troubles with the pressure pad and I would rather just Use the buttons on the Peck 15. Seen too many negligent discharge of light that's why I don't use the pressure pad was just wondering your opinion
Kevin, man… this is so great! I just got a LMT with a 308 barrel and I’m waiting on a 6.5 creedmoor barrel for it. Got a Nightforce nx8 tremor3. Can’t wait to learn more from you on how to use my system. Thanks a lot for putting this information out!
“I’ve been blown up a lot of times” best reason ever! Could listen to you all day man. Too often I suffer through videos for the info listening to an ass. I too hate math!!
Great content! From your bug out bag to this to putting red dots at 45 degree angles (sped my rifle passes up at 3 gun events). Would love to take a long range class from you some day and looking forward to going down the rabbit hole!
Kevin - great video! Question on round choice. You recommend 6.5 creedmoor but everywhere I look puts the 6.5 at nearly double the price of .308. I know training is important and 6.5 is better but is it 2x better? Would we be doing ourselves a disservice by running a Tremor3 on a .308 gun?
I think the tremor 3 Radical is amazing. In a way it's almost like trying to make a 1 shot 0 correction. Normally when you impact And it is not where you want it to be You adjust elevation and windage to where your last Bullet hole was. So it's kind of like that But your weapon is already 0 .where you see Splash . You have your Hold . Don't understand why they didn't do that s*** years ago. I am absolutely digging these little Series
Wait, do carbines have a rail bias? I know some bolt guns and mounts can have 20 MOA built in, for example, but I always assumed a regular BCM would have zero rail bias. Am I missing something?
Kevin, do you offer in depth training on the Tremor 3 reticle in any of your classes? I’ve looked all over and can not find any in-depth training on the Tremor 3 reticle.
Thank you very much for the info and content ! What reticle do you recommend for western big game hunting ? Been looking at all options from nightforce, vortex and leupold
Owens!!! Love these videos ! Wish I would had them about a year ago lol! I have a 12.5” Bcm, with a Vortex 1x10 EBR-9 MRAD, offset RMR, Surefire Rc2. Show me how to use this damn thing lol. What would be a good first class to take with you?
Kevin thank you for all of this. In this current market of LPVO scopes in 1-6 or 1-8 would a 2nd focal plane be your recommendation for out to 800-900 yards?
Very interesting Kevin.....so at sea level I site my 270 at 50 yards to be in the bullseye it should still be bulleyes or an inch or two low at 200 yards?
Primary arms glx line have good alternative to tmr reticles, not quite the same, but they have mil-grid and bdc choices. Filipino glass in the glx line, Japanese on the plx lines
A PA 3x18 Apollo is a fantastic 6.5 scope! But like Kevin said a Ballistic app and make sure you know your rifles individual cartridges velocity. I use Ballistic AE app.
Are the near-holds fairly similar across calibers? Meaning would a 50-200yd be true (or within noise, as you called it) for 5.56, .308, 6.5, .300 BLK, 7.62x39, etc…? My assumption is it would change, and that barrel length might also change it (maybe to a lesser degree for the common barrel lengths, though). I’m also going to try to research this myself, but putting it here as a backup!
Kevin, this is a great series that you’re doing. Thank you for sharing this knowledge and experience.
The most humble badass ever.
Y’all should advertise these on the FC pages. If I hadn’t been a FC follower for a long time I don’t think I’d ever have found Kevin’s YT page.
Been following Fieldcraft since 2020 and I just found this channel yesterday. Pure chance. Love the info Kevin!
Loving this series. Appreciate you dropping all this knowledge for free. Looking forward to the next episode.
Awesome video! Kevin breaks it down so simply with the right amount of information for normal shooters
This is absolute fire. First video I've ever seen this simple and educational on reticles
Past classes for precision rifle / tac precision rifle were a TON of info in such a short time…. These vids are an excellent, step by step review with some new information added. Thank you!

You do that very well.

this is the best series since Ryan Cleckner's on long range shooting.
Kevin,
Thank you for your time and help in all these videos. Your an awesome teacher in the game of long distance shooting.
Great stuff! Clearly and simply explained with the details you need and why. One of the best guys doing this stuff. Thanks Kevin!
Where is the next episode in this series?

Great video! So a BDC would be an EASY choice for a DMR rifle but the TRMR 3 would be the best choice for Long Range Precision.
Thanks again, Kevin! Passing this along to my friends!
Now you're getting it
Can we get more of this type of content? I learned a ton from the first several videos and look forward to more info. Thank you!
Brilliant series 😎😎👍
This was a great video that explains the different reticles that's easy to understand.
These videos are fantastic
Great content Kevin
Could you do a video on the wind brackets by caliber that you cover in your classes?
Great information. What do you think about the 36 yard zero. Keep up the good work brother.
Awesome video! I love my HERA bpr reticle which is a grid in moa because I’ve been more familiar with moa. Dimitri is an amazing reticle designer.
Awesome video, I really appreciate any info on how to use long range optics.
A video explaining mils and ranging would be great
you should go to hyatt farms in oakboro and teach some classes..can see the uwharrie mountains in the distance
I am really enjoying this series. I look forward to each additional entry. You give the essential information in an easily understandable and digestible form that really helps me. Thanks for taking the effort. I really appreciate it.
Awesome stuff
This series is fantastic!! So much knowledge.

I just use the button
Thanks Kevin. This all makes so much more sense.
Outstanding information provided per usual, Kevin. Thanks a million!

Absolutely not, stick with your 308 and master the Tremor
@@kevinowens9636 THANK YOU!
As of late, Strelok Pro was removed from the app store due to U.S. sanctions on Russian companies; Do you know of any worthwhile alternatives?

Awesome info so far!! Really appreciate y’all doing these!
Is that plan to continue this series still? Thx!
Loving this series sir! Good stuff!
Wait, do carbines have a rail bias? I know some bolt guns and mounts can have 20 MOA built in, for example, but I always assumed a regular BCM would have zero rail bias. Am I missing something?
Loving this series. Will there be more episodes added in the future, or are the rest of the videos available for sale on some other platform? Thanks!
I do agree grids are superior i just dont wanna give Leupold 2.5k to get a tmr3
Really good video. Thanks.
Kevin, do you offer in depth training on the Tremor 3 reticle in any of your classes? I’ve looked all over and can not find any in-depth training on the Tremor 3 reticle.
I’ll do a video as soon as I get time
Great video!
Good stuff as usual. Thanks.
Kevin is my favorite FCsurvivor!
Thank you very much for the info and content ! What reticle do you recommend for western big game hunting ? Been looking at all options from nightforce, vortex and leupold
What do you think of that larue suppressor?
Owens!!! Love these videos
! Wish I would had them about a year ago lol!
I have a 12.5” Bcm, with a Vortex 1x10 EBR-9 MRAD, offset RMR, Surefire Rc2.

Ballistics 101
Kevin thank you for all of this.
In this current market of LPVO scopes in 1-6 or 1-8 would a 2nd focal plane be your recommendation for out to 800-900 yards?
Thank you for an educational video that will help make me poor.
Is the ACSS reticle a worthy budget option? (Although some aren't so cheap anymore)
Are DMRs obsolete? And by DMR i mean 18-20 inch 5.56, similar to mk 12?
Not at all, perfect platform for urban environment
what calibur is that rifle?
Very interesting Kevin.....so at sea level I site my 270 at 50 yards to be in the bullseye it should still be bulleyes or an inch or two low at 200 yards?
“Whoever said snipers are good at math is full of shit.” 😎
-Kevin fooking Owens
I have a 18" 6.5cm AR10 I built. What optic with the TRMR 3 wouldnt break the bank in your opinion?
look for a used Bushnell HDMR or Luepold MK5 on tacswap
probably going to drop $2000 for the scope and mount.
Primary arms glx line have good alternative to tmr reticles, not quite the same, but they have mil-grid and bdc choices. Filipino glass in the glx line, Japanese on the plx lines
PA is probably the most bang for buck
A PA 3x18 Apollo is a fantastic 6.5 scope! But like Kevin said a Ballistic app and make sure you know your rifles individual cartridges velocity. I use Ballistic AE app.

Wind matters.
For a 50/200m zero (14.5” barrel) at 100m the round will be high, not low. Unless I’m mistaken?
Is the app that you recommended free?
You need to have Chance G on the podcast
What do you think about the ACSS Griffin Mil reticle?
"Unless you like math...in which case ummm, you're a nerd!"😂😂😂😂
@kevinowens what are your thoughts on 6mm ARC is it a gimmick all hype or is it oK?
Haven’t shot it yet, I supposed to get one soon, I’ll let you know
Running the Tall target test, what would you say is acceptable variance for dialed vs actual MOA?
I know for the military we insisted on .1 MRAD
What calibers would you recommend for a gridded reticle and at what distance would you zero?
Personally I use BDC for 5.56 and gridded for .308 and bigger, zero at 100 yards
