I recently gotten me a F150 XLT truck 96 model 5.0/5-speed. I'm looking at this video and I finally found my truck's twin brother! I got it to finish from where the soldier had to stop because he had to go to another part of the earth to continuing being a Super hero as I have always called our military soldiers. I knew when I saw the military grade four link heavy duty setup under it I will never part with it and I'm a Chevy man but I love the F150 of this era. Thanks for this video man. I've been recently schooled on my "LunchBox" locker in rear differential and Dana44 front differential by VIN# but I'm removing front pumpkin cover today just to be sure. Mine is a short bed truck with a fifth wheel custom built . 36" x13.50/15" Iroc Super Swampers tires. Thank U Jesus for this blessing.
Amazon, it’s actually for a ranger. I just made it work and wired it into the brake light switch cause this is a 93 so it didn’t have a third brake light up there from factory
Hell yeah brother I'm going to give you a little bit of information from my research 456 or 488 gears are the best for them trucks with 40 inch tires I would have practically done the exact same thing you did
If your running 40 inch tires you should have 5.14 gears at a minimum I'm running 33 with 4.54 gears rn and it's a little low but when I go to 35s it will be perfect
@@Bigtommyboy6996 I have a 1994 f150 2wd , I was wondering if I could take off my spine from my 2wd twin I beam suspension and put it on a Dana 44 1978-1979 front axle . Will it fit ?
@@TugExpress idk what you mean by spine but you might wanna look through some of my videos n get a good understanding of this before you go hacking up a truck. There are times I wish I would have just left things alone
Hell yes!! Perfect set up in my opinion. Sweet truck bro!

This is awesome thank you, very informative!
Can we get a new walk around with the rig, love this thing.
@@backwoods_n_baddecisions yes I’ve had a couple people ask n I’m trying to remember to get around to it
Yes sir 🤙
Nice truck! I ordered them same taillights for my 96. Where did you get the third brake light? Can’t find clear ones

Getting ready to do the same thing💪
Can I get a list of things to do so? Thank you!
My dad had a 95 f150 single cab on a 8” lift and he somehow got 44 super swampers on there it baffles me to this day not to mention it was a 2wd
Must have molested it with a sawzaw, cause I could barely clear 44s if I could even clear them on this set up
What made you decide to go with the solid axle?
Why the ttb hubs?

What did you do for the speedometer conversion?
Speedometer conversion..?
what side steps are those?
Bully I think the brand is, there off Amazon
Why don't you put a winch bumper on the front of it
@@evannemeth9797 you should watch my newer videos
I’m planning on swapping but I want to make sure the 2wds are interchangeable as well you said 4wd not 2wd
I’m not understanding exactly what your asking?

Spindle*
@@TugExpress you can’t just swap the spindle… this is a complete axle swap
What size tires are you running
In this video 325/85R16 Michelin’s.
You can find 15x12 wheels for it on Amazon
2wds have 2.5 inch springs 4x4s have 3 inch
Depends also if it’s got a tow package
Wow 306 cylinders thats huge must’ve been hard to fit in there. Jk looks good man
