Hello Jose, Great 911 Socal Content, I just setup a page to track 911 sales so that I can eventually find one. I added a link of this vid to the bottom of my web page.

Hi Joe, Ron from Australia here. First of all I'd like to congratulate you on your fantastic sunroof restoration video, great work and well done. I was never brave enough to tackle my sunroof installation until I watched your three videos. Hoping you can help me out here, on my 911 the two outside deflector blades are not connected to their mounting bases, looks like they may have been spot welded originally. I know some Porsche parts suppliers like Aase Porsche, sell these blades separately. My thought was to affix them with a high temperature glue ? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Ron

I dont see why a 2-part epoxy applied very thin wouldn't work.

Hey Jose. Like the car and your videos . Got to as , where did you get that aluminum airbox ? Did you make it or buy it from someone. I’m in the middle of a my SC rebuild myself and like the airbox on your car.

It's an old aftermarket unit from the late 70s/early 80s. They come up for sale occasionally on the Pelican forums.

I have seen two of your videos on your journey with this car; this is the third: the fuse panel upgrade which I did also and the window regulator repair. I had not heard of the oil filter heat sink until this video. I found one on ebay for a hundred bucks. The seller claims that it drops the oil temp as much as 12 degrees.
I have a mutt of a 78 SC Targa that I have made several updates and repairs. Right now I'm involved in a losing battle with slow raising windows. I have replaced the motors, switches and repaired the clock spring pivots on the regulators, thoroughly cleaned the rails and rollers and lubed. Yet I still cannot get the windows to raise more than a very slow crawl. Any suggestions?

Hi there, I like your videos and your car. I have -80 SC (ROW spec) and it is going through a complete engine rebuilt at the moment. I was listening your car on idle and it sounds very much like mine with SSI headers and Dansk muffler with (84mm or 3"+) tail pipes. I almost like the setup but it has annoying drone at 5th gear and 80km/h or 55mph. Does your car drone?

No drone whatsoever. I am very happy with the current setup.
