    I've always liked the SC.
    I've a 1996 993 C2 iris blue metallic, 66,000 miles, 6-speed manny tranny, varioram, LSD. No CEL, no oil leaks.
    Yes, I change those out once every 2 years. Just screw them in so that they make the lid 'pop' when you pull the handle. They should NOT make you have to push down really hard to actually shut/lock the rear hatch/hood/bonnet.
