I worked a lot in the amazon jungle. Inside the forest it is hot, humid and the leaves of the vegetation are usually sharp. Just passing the arm already cuts. Lots of mosquitoes don't give peace of mind and vesps chase. Swin in the small creeks after 4:00 PM can be an anaconda,s dinner. Amazing how these children survived.
this 13 yr old is smart beyond her years, what life skills to possess, she strong and a fighter, her mother would be so proud of her.
This AMZING girl carried so much, SO, SO much responsibility for all those days and nights. I hope that now someone catches her and carries the responsibility for her until she grows up. What she did is outstanding and will go down in history, but she is just a little girl, a child. ❤

Man, I think most people still cant grasp the magnitude of this. 40 days!!! 4 children alone deep into Amazonia, and they still got out alive! That’s unbelievable. I have been to the Amazon a couple times in my life and I cant even imagine spending 5 days alone and lost in that place, let alone 40!! Its hot, humid, suffocating at times and at night is pitch black but you still can hear all type of animals which can be pretty scary. And Between huge mosquitos and crazylooking bugs everywhere, cheetahs that come out of nowhere and are always hungry, deadly snakes and other animaIs…. I still cant wrap my mind around this miracle.
The older one sure is a hero and a skilled survivalist bc she kept 2 kids and a one year old baby AND herself alive. Im in complete awe at these kids tenacity and resilience. I know that the fact that they are indigenous and have knowledge of the land and how to survive in it helped, but still, even grown natives wont spend too long deep into the jungle bc they know how dangerous and unpredictable it can be.
I would love to hear her account of these days and how she managed such a remarkable feat. Still can’t believed it tho
Praise God for His constant care of these children during such an awful ordeal. He certainly was helping the oldest to take care of her younger siblings.
The first miracle was that they survive the plane crash without serious inquiries. The 2nd miracle was that they survive for 40 days in the Amazon forest without any harm from dangerous creatures. We thank Allah for His protection.

A Miracle is what this is, and the bravery and resilience from the four children is truly Amazing. This could even be made into a movie. I can't imagine the pure joy their family and friends had when they found out they were all found still alive.

It’s not every day that a news report makes me cry for sadness, gratitude, joy and relief, but this one did. Great thanks to all searchers who wouldn’t give up and to God above.
This 13-year old was absolutely amazing, it’s astonishing that she managed to keep even her 11-month old baby sibling alive. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had proportionately lost the most weight and was in the worst condition of the four children, when rescued, she probably gave most of the food to her younger siblings. It’s the most powerful instinct of all females, especially as they approach child-bearing age, physically at least. Their poor mother must have been agonizingly distressed, worrying about their survival as she died. Their survival is miraculous, but these poor children have still tragically lost both parents. As I understand it, there are many close relatives offering loving homes to them, I hope and pray they can all stay together to grow up, they’ve just undergone the greatest possible bonding situation. Some NGO in their country should start a donation-fund for them, the world’s hearts go out to them, and they will need it without parents to support them.

Being indigenous doesn't explain how she managed to survive in the middle of the jungle put ordinary kids at a well organised home they will end up hurting themselves. She is exceptional she is more than brave she is god to her little siblings
That’s because indigenous girls are raised to know everything about their ancestral traditions as women. Many indigenous people teach their girls, usually after their first period, how to be a woman according to their own cosmo-vision. That includes rising their children, preparing different meals, ancestral medicine, etc. Boys also have their own ancestral initiation rituals.

The grandmother of the children, said that she taught the girl about the jungle, how to avoid predators, how to identify poisonous fruits, how to catch fish and hunt, where to find clean water. This are basic jungle skills taught to all children, that's how she kept her self and her siblings alive.

I guess Allah and God were on a break or maybe taking a zoom call when it came to saving the adults? Why didn’t these folks have them found in 39 days? 24 days? 4 days? Why make them suffer for 40? Where were these God’s when 1000’S of other planes crashed and all perished? Where were these God’s when earthquakes happen and buildings collapse or people are murdered or when you stubbed your toe last week on a piece of furniture? How about the fact that we all live and we all die at some point! Period.

13 years and 9 years old they are very brave. How much they have passed the nights in fear. I dread to think of them. There was no food, no water. How did they spend 40 days 😭😭 It seems that the 11-month-old baby will not be able to eat anything without milk. Their survival is miraculous like Prophet Ibrahim when his tribe threw him into the fire but the fire could not harm him. May Allah give these four orphans strength and wisdom so that they can live happily.

She is 13yr old. Other kids were 9, 4 and 12 months but it seems two of them had their birthday in jungle so younger siblings turn 5 and 1yr old when they were in jungle.
