  • Hey everyone, this video shows how you can attach plants like anubias, java fern, water sprite onto a piece of driftwood. I use gorilla glue gel or loctite glue gel.

    Can you add the piece to the fish tank immediately? Or can the glue be toxic to fish if added before it’s fully cured?

      Yes, that would be important to know. 👍🏻

    Great video, thank you. I used this video to attach my own anubias to some drift wood.The roots I left draped over the side of the wood like yours. It has been almost 2 weeks and there is no sign that they are attempting to grow into the wood. What kind of time frame are we looking at before they become one with the wood ?

    • @kaison304
      @kaison304 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      have u noticed growth since?

    • @anthonylowney6785
      @anthonylowney6785 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@kaison304 oh hell yeah my friend. The plant is a beast and is growing out and above the tank. It is completely part of the driftwood. I would say it took a good six months until it became part of the wood. Still going strong after 4 years.

    • @rollothewalker5535
      @rollothewalker5535 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Jackson RRXT Thanks, but since then, i just lashed it to the driftwood with some fishing line. It's doing super good.

    • @ShelbyA09
      @ShelbyA09 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Luca206 The main problem most have with fishing line is it's in the tank til you take it out (where as others will dissolve) and some have had fish wedge themselves between the line, and the rock/wood. Hopefully you don't experience that, but just an fyi to keep an eye out.
