Kiswahili is not related to arabs, ot adopted words from arabic, there is a tribe called bajuni and there mother tongue is actually a dialect of swahili called kibajuni.. the swahili clans are spread all over the coast and those small islands
That is partially true as Swahili has adopted words from Arabic, Portuguese, Hindi and even English. But Arabic contributed about 15-20% of the Swahili we speak today mainly due to the trade that took place back then spanning from Kilwa to Zanzibar and Kenya and even as far as Yemen and Famously OMAN🇴🇲
