That Came out great, I respect you for taking the extra time on all the intricate details, such as rounding out the dowels by hand, and adding the carvings. You're a true Artisan Sir!
Lovely video! Thank you for sharing. I was hoping that you were going to use cordage for the front stop of the shelf, and it turned out great! Those pigments will be wonderful to see in use once they get mixed up and ready for application.
Thanks very much! Haha well I'm glad you liked the corded front part, I get the feeling I'm gonna have to adjust them now and then but hopefully it'll be a while before I have to. Thanks for watching I appreciate it
...by which I meant that this is a terrifically enjoyable video. I mean, there's wood carving, there's nature photography, there's a bit of sanding and there's a whole bunch of tiny empty jam jars. Something for everyone. It's classic Clint/Andrew.
It's very hard for me to recommend beginner tools but usually for people who have never carved before I just say buy a carving knife, find some wood and carve random things. Just remember to be careful of sharp knives. You could also try Beavercraft, they do a lot of beginner sets.
Neat little shelves. I really like how you incorporated a build into this video with your carving.
Oh this one should definitely have the end credit 'Director of Photography - Timber Andrew'.

Ah well thanks very much, very kind of you! I think it's often the little details that make it
That is such a beautiful piece of recycling and love the nordic look of the scrolling.
Thanks Michael! I figured it needed a little something

What tools do you recommend for beginners?
