Honestly I’m kind of happy Hasbro’s taking over. This is the premium line and there are more mistakes than the normal line. The releases are terrible and there are incomplete teams and so many design flaws. Although I’d like to get some singular rangers. I love Dino Thunder, so the White Ranger is awesome for me, but I imagine it’ll have loose joints and missing paint. Great video and great customisations!
I've learned quite a bit from making these and I think I'll go back and revise the designs. Originally these were designed for an FDM printer so some things needed to be thicker to print out well. With SLS printing I can make things thinner and not sacrifice detail and strength.
Do you also 3D Print Megazord parts/weapons that usually go missing? It's a great market for those of us who want to complete our Megazords even if not factory complete..no reasonable alternatives and these parts are harder to find, hence the high tier pricing on eBay..thanks.

You know the shield getting darker over time is screen accurate? Well at least as far as MMPR Green Ranger is concerned. Watch his early appearances (ZyuRanger footage, not US with that pants cloth shield) and the shield is very shiny gold. Now watch once they’re into the Zyu2 footage, and the shield is a very dull almost brown colour. Not sure if it’s a different shield or the same one that had been through a lot (either way still better than the US one!). You can see it best in “Mighty Morphin Mutants” where Green fights his Green Putty clone and the clone has the bright shiny shield and Green Ranger has the dull one! Don’t remember it happening in Zeo, presumably because Gold Ranger got used a lot less than MMPR Green, but it’s one of those quirks of MMPR I’ve always noticed.
I'd wipe off as much of the sharpie as you can. Then get a can of matte and gloss clear coat spray paint from probably any hobby store. Give each figure a real quick coat of matte, then paint them with gold acrylic paint or get a gold paint marker and go over them with that. With the marker you can keep the brown gundam marker better and I think these will look incredible. Then a 2nd coat of matte, a coat of gloss and a final coat of matte and these will really pop. Great job with them, btw. I really love how they look painted up like that but I don't think I can justify the cost for the whole team at this point. I've seen Gold, Red, Blue and Green all in stores the last few months and really debated picking them up a few times... but after getting the whole MMPR team, making a custom Green Ranger with no shield and Black Ranger with shield (couldn't find a 2nd Red Ranger) and knowing Hasbro is getting the licence in a few months and that they'll probably/hopefully an incredible job, I think I need to regretfully pas on the Zeo Rangers. Still, awesome job here. 10/10
Coming from someone who paints gunpla on a regular. Remove all the gold paint and clean the area where your going to be painting. Use black primer first. If you dont have an airbrush or spray cans, hand brush some black primer onto it. Use thin layers with a brush, to the point where you're pretty much drybrushing it on. Once you have a nice consistant layer of black, then put on some gold paint using the same method. Thin, dry layers. Topcoat it, then get a panel wash and run it into the details. This will be faster and better than using a gundam marker. Tamiya is your friend. If you want, I can link you a few videos to help.
I think one thing I wish Bandai did for the Legacy line was having a side line for Sentai Rangers, I mean, I'd love to see teams like Goranger, Changeman, Flashman, and Liveman given the Legacy Figure treatment. I just imagine the problem being rights and royalties, and now, with Bandai and Saban eventually to give over toy/show rights to them, it'd be worth seeing if Hasbro would consider doing a few Sentai Rangers in a Lightning Figure side-range.
This is all interesting. I do wonder whether Hasbro only have rights to power rangers, and not Sentai exclusive rangers? But then what about the Sentai rangers who appeared as 'new powers' in super megaforce? Technically they've been in PR...
@@powerrangertube I don't know if Boom expanding on the Supersonic Rangers (Fiveman) would count towards the idea that if it was in the Sentai show itself, PR could use it, similar to how the Spinozord in Dino Charge only got to appear because Tobaspino was used in episodes of Kyoryuger.
I will always hate how muscular they make these figures, the Power Rangers aren't roided up super heroes. They are teenagers with attitude. It's too bad because I'd love to see Figurarts do a Zeo line.
I now have the Red Zeo Ranger which is really cool, and fortunately he stands perfectly on my shelf next to my MMPR Green and White Rangers, I'm so glad to have the Red Zeo Ranger on my shelf.
I'm of two minds regarding customisation/3D printing. Obviously, fans show great craftsmanship, and the latter actually shares the work with others... but at the same time, it _shouldn't have to be done_ . I'm sorry, and call me naive, but "It's nice that Bandai left the detail there for you to do" isn't good enough as far as I'm concerned, especially for a collector's line. Obviously mistakes/errors happen on occassion (especially with Hasbro's PRs) but there should _never_ be obvious work left to do, or omitted accessories. Charge a little more if necessary, but as customers we shouldn't have to go to the trouble of actually finishing the job ourselves.
Sharpie gold is never good for custom figures, the gold is always doll and dark, but u ever use a marker or paint marker, once the figures dry use a coat or two of clear nail polish, if they are just for display it does wonders
There is a company that does minifigure paints for warhammer 40k and custom dungeons and dragons minifigures called the army painter that does a product called WARPAINTS. They are made in Denmark, cost $3 to $4 US per 18 ml bottle, and will have roughly three shades of gold for you to try straight out of the bottle. Don't worry, a little goes a LOOONG way. Thin coat of yellow primer matching paint followed by a few thin coats of gold to your liking. I have used them before on my gunpla kits in LOTS of colors and have loved them all. Fair warning: they are water-based, but I don't recommend mixing straight out of the bottle. The website is www.TheArmyPainter.com Have fun!
Living in Australia there are maybe two stores they get the legacy figures and in very small numbers. The recent movie ones were easy enough to get but I only got two of them. The rest I gave up on.

Bandai, overall, is pretty high. You can especially feel that in the Gunpla and Kamen Rider SHF community (for KR Build, especially, where only Build RabbitTank, Cross-Z Charge, and Night Rouge were the regular releases while the rest are P-Bandai).
Lord drakkon is too much unfortunately but looks awesome. Still can't find metallic yellow and pink. Still waiting for psycho red and blue in the states
RW:uknow Powerrangertube I know an exact place here in Chandler AZ that can make 3d custom made weapons for the ZEO Rangers exactly like what you got (though it may cost you some dollars or pounds from your POV) the store in Chandler Fashion Center is called STAXX 3D ,they could make any weapons ,figurines ,or in your case the ZEO Rangers weapons it just depends on the price honestly dude.hope this helps just look them up online 😉.

Just a word of advice; speak a bit louder and/or turn your voice volume up and the music volume down. I had trouble hearing your voice even with earphones.

Funny how the Psycho Rangers were slated for Summer and Fall 2018 and we didn't start seeing them in stores here in Canada until this month!

I loved Zeo besides MMPR and I haven’t bought any Legacy Zeo Rangers at all.

They used what's known as unpaintable plastic. Terrible idea on their end.
