  • We got a pretty good dusting last night and I just couldn't resist the desire to go get slippery in the road.
Unfortunately my tires seem to be too good for all that, but it was still fun.

The manufacturer of your tires should be sponsoring you. I'm pretty impressed with their grip in slippery conditions.

I’ve often dreamed of a tire sponsor, but mostly for my Subaru! I was really surprised too

Haha that looked like fun! The Notch has more traction than I expected.

Yeah, I was genuinely surprised I wasn’t able to get it to slide.

This is awesome, dude. Probably one of the things I’m jealous about living in the snow….. mmm, actually the only thing. I hate the snow haha.

When we moved here, the cold took some getting used to. We don’t get much snow and I generally enjoy it when we do.

Man you are crazy! My drifting days are over lol. Probably because modern Vws have good traction control and my aircooleds are tucked away.

It’s such good fun. It stems from the way I decided to learn to drive in these conditions after moving from a climate where it never snows.

I like your hat! Ground was too warm to make it slick. You'll have other chances, spring isn't until 19 March. Only 75 days or so away.

I’d say you’re right about the temp. I hope we get some more snow. I appreciate the hat compliment. I made it myself. It’s a bit wonky, but very warm!

What kind of car is this?

So glad you asked. It’s a 1964 VW TYPE 3 Notchback. VW of America never sold the Notchback, only the squareback (Variant) and the fastback. So, they’re all private imports and hard to come by. Check out my “love story” video for more on my history with it.

@@bighank796apparently it won’t let me link the video. It’s nearly my oldest video and higher views. Something like “1964 Notchback Love Story”
