Sergei Kravinoff is the half brother of Dimitri Kravinoff, also known as the Chameleon. Born into a Russian aristocracy that had come to an end the duo found themselves as orphans on the run. Unlike Dimitri, who turned his knack for mimicry into a criminal profession, Sergei trained himself to become the world’s fiercest hunter, due to his desire to regain his lost sense of nobility. Infused with a potion that gave him super strength and agility, he quickly became bored with the usual prey. As a result, he soon came to recognize Spider-Man as the most dangerous game of all. Kraven has to be one of the most underrated villains of all time. He's so good, and has a really compelling storyline, but no one seems to recognise that.
JustEComedy just like Scorpion and Vulture those Spidey villains are very underrated also.
Super Gamer I really like Vulture, but he's become a bit of a punch line, which is a shame. A lot of Spiderman villains are pretty campy, so he's really not much worse than the other ones- but he takes the flak for it for some reason.
JustEComedy Yeah i know if they are going too make a character show them.
Super Gamer I am definantly gonna put Kraven in my next film.
Sam Kresil That'll be awesome.
Kraven is one of my all-time favorites. I love the story involving him and his brother leaving after the revolution, and that he was too good at what he did. So good that he literally got bored to death. Not that I like suicide, but it's the perfect ending ending for him. Sincerely.
Kraven and Chameleon would make great villains for a movie. Have Chameleon be the villain to face Spidey but have him play a back character and Kraven as the main villain.
No one ever stays dead in Comic Books
What about Gwen Stacy?
Tyler Hamltion I think her and uncle Ben are the only exceptions lol
Obadiah state did didn't he?
Ben Reilly
Exactly
This guy vs. Predator.
...that..IS GENUIS!!!! WHY HASNT ANYONE MADE THAT YET!!! GET MARVEL ON THE HORN HERE!!!!!!
Nikita Ivachtchenko Predators struggle with regular humans. They stand zero chance against even minor superhumans. Kraven would be the one hunting Predators.
@@djrocksgaming6255 but the humans fighting predator has guns while kraven doesn’t
Death battle needs to read this
What I like about Kraven is the fact that if we removed the jungle potion aspect, his skills are his own. His gimmick is simply being a hunter. And a scarily competent one.
Would love to see kraven vs black panther in the black panther movie
Exactly what i thought at the end of the 1st. Would be so easy to put him in storyline of black panther movie
What about Spider man 3
He should be played by Karl Urban or Gerard Butler
What
Who’s here after seeing the “Kraven the Hunter” movie trailer?
its going to be garbage lol
No mention of Kraven's offspring? Kraven's Last Hunt was considered one of the best Spider-man stories but the writers wanted a Kraven-like being to fight Spider-man periodically, so the writers gave him THREE children:
Vladimir- became "The Grim Hunter". He was more high-tech than Kraven, and had a VERY big grudge against Spider-man, blaming him for his father's death. He fought Spidey once (and got his ass kicked) before getting killed off by Spidey's insane clone Kaine. (I still think Vlad was an idiot for ditching his laser blasting spear for a knife in his final fight with Kaine, who had wiped the floor with him through most of their encounter) He was later resurrected as a giant lion monster, but was killed again by Kraven himself, who felt Vlad being a were-lion was worse than death.
Alyosha- Kraven II. The spitting image of his father, Alyosha tracked down Spider-man for more info about his deceased dad, since, unlike Vad, Alyosha was an illegitimate son. After he and Spidey were brainwashed into fighting each other by Calypso, Alyosha killed her and fought Spider-man on several occasions through the years. Alyosha was apparently killed by his half-sister after assisting her in resurrecting Kraven.
Ana- Kraven III. Ana was born just before Kraven killed himself and was raised by his wife to become his heir. After unsuccessfully hunting Spider-man on her own (she ended up capturing his roommate instead) Ana and Sasha formed a plan to resurrect Kraven by using Spidey as a sacrifice. She succeeded (although Kaine ended up being sacrificed unbeknowenst to her), but Kraven, disgusted at his family, killed her recently resurrected brother Vlad and told her that if she killed Alyosha, she'd be the true Kravenoff heir. She apparently did, because in her next appearance she and Kraven fought side by side.
vampman87 wait vladimir?? do you mean that russian mob who's completely destroyed by kingpin from daredevil shows??...
anime sucks dick Vladimir Kravenoff/Grim Hunter is not related at all to the Vlad that was in the Daredevil show.
vampman87 lol but i do really hope its related and the next spiderman movie will be about kraven the hunter
I like how he wasn’t really a villain at first, he was just a man who likes hunting the old fashion way, the real villain is The Chameleon because of recommending Spider-Man to Kraven
dude the are both villains lol
I hope he be part of the mcu
He was originally going to be in black Panther
He might be in black panther 2
Kraven is one of my favorite Spider-Man villains and it would be interesting to see him fight him in the MCU.
One minor correction: Kraven didn't unwittingly bury Spiderman alive; he deliberately shot him with an herb that put him into a coma for two weeks, knowing that he would eventually come out of it.
Kraven is like the bane of Spider-Man
Bane broke batman’s Back and Kraven buried Spider-Man alive.
Wouldn’t Venom be more like spider-man’s bane???
He's origin story sounds like the short story for most dangerous game
i thought it was pretty neat in the spectacular spiderman that they made him into a anthro lion with feline abilities. i found that really neat seeing that other characters did stuff like this and kraven being so desperate it fit him.
is Kraven like the guy in "the most dangerous game" he is the best hunter in the world then starts hunting humans
same story
Something like that.
Pretty brief mention of Calypso, considering how big a role she actually plays in Kraven's life.
Marc Webb said that he is interested in bringing in Kraven into The Amazing Spider-Man film franchise. If that happens, I would be so damn happy.
ryu hyabusa is still a more badass ninja ! XD
croc"ninja"
he doesn't know the meaning of stealth
MiningwithPudding Exactly. And I don't see what Ryu Hayabusa has to do with me saying that Marc Webb would like to use Kraven in future Amazing Spider-Man films (even though I like him)
***** i was referencing your death battle with Ryu Hyabusa
MiningwithPudding yeah right more stealthy then you
1:11
"Rather than resort to ranged weapons like guns or arrows"
"Kraven Uses His Bare Hands,Knives and Spears"
Aren't Spears technically ranged weapons?
Depends on how you use those spears.
Kraven is kinda like Bane.... only more badass.
No bane is way cooler
Bane needs to constantly dose himself with Venom.
Kraven only needed to dose once.
Bane is an over glorified addict, while Kraven is like Captain America if he took up a hobby of Big Game/Most Dangerous Game Hunting.
No actually bane is strong enough without venom
Jimmy russles
Yet he always ends up using it.
End of the argument, Bane needed to juice up to kill a simple 12 foot long Alligator. Kraven kills shit like that with his bare hands.
Not killer croc
One of my favs Marvel villians.
Same!
Honestly after reading Kraven last hunt proven to me that Kraven has the pontenail to become one of the best spidey villains
So excited for the movie
One part of your origin story is incorrect; Kraven shot Spiderman with a special herb that put him in a coma, and buried him knowing he would come out of it eventually.
Having Kraven shoot himself was idiotic of Marvel; bringing him back from the dead was even more idiotic.
Are you kidding? His suicide was perfect end for him. His story was over, he regained his honor and died in peace.
Markus Criticus I agree. You would never have expected that. You might have thought that he was waiting to die, thus having a coffin nearby, but instead he climbed in and killed himself. This made his victory over spider-man permenant due to him beating his foe before his suicide.
His suicide was a great end to his story, and while I do think that's a little lost due to his resurrection, he's still an amazing character and I'm glad we get to see more of him.
Kraven was dying! He knew he didn't have long to live, cause his powers were fading and eventually his true age would catch up. The potion he took wasn't working anymore. That's why he used a rifle to capture Spider-Man. It was out of character for him, but it was quick to use.
After that he had his eccentric sense of honor back that he would be proud to die for.
John Richardson he was in Spider-man's hallucination in Todd McFarlane's Spiderman
that 90's spiderman cartoon was the comic books for me back then. And the xmen cartoon. they stayed true to the comic book lore
I have this theory: after Kravens last hunt and Grim Hunt Kraven might figure out that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, or at least theorize it. But just like Batman is to the Joker, Kraven dose not care who the man behind the mask, Just the animal or prey he represents
Awesome villain!
I love the kraven! he is so awesome!
I can't stress this enough man, read Kraven's Last Hunt! It's fifty shades of awesome!
This is the New villain for Amazing Spiderman 3 movie
come on mojo you tackled most of spider man villains know just have to due scorpion origins
Reminds me of Saxton hale
Bit of trivia... craven was an old word which basically meant coward. Maybe they gave Kraven his name ironically.
He should have stayed dead. If he did he would be more popular I think
Kraven himself would agree with you. He was extremely pissed off after being resurrected because he wanted to stay dead.
That goes for a lot of villans
Kraven skill set as a Hunter is in impressive I can see why he is such a fan Favourite and why people want to see him in a movie
The prints are fresh
Who's after the "Kraven the Hunter" trailer?? So hype!!!!
One of the best Spider man villain ever
lets talk about the difference between Kraven and Spiderman, Spidey has always bested Kraven either easily(Ultimate Spiderman) or has taken real effort. but; lets talk about Vermin, everyone remembers Kraven's Last Hunt. it took Spiderman AND Captain America to beat Vermin, while Kraven did it single handedly.
what does that tell you?
That power-scaling with Kraven is extremely inconsistent.
It tells us that you are a total nerd.
1:28-1:35 Sounds like the Super Soldier Serum
xD I couldn't stop laughing when it got to the burying Spider-Man alive and donning the black suit. Good grief Marvel, what the heck did you try to do to this character?!
I've read a comic book concerning Kraven and Ghost of suicides ... that comic left me depressed for week!
Sony. Give Kraven a movie!
Wish granted
The next villain of Tom Holland.
Kraven the Hunter is such a badass and needs to be introduced in the Spiderman movies when Disney Marvel gets the rights back
in all honesty, I had in mind to have Kraven go after the Man-Bat at the Central Park Zoo in the "Zoo Time Massacre" chapter of my series, the James Gilliam chronicles
I wish comics would just let people be dead more often.
But then comics would be over more quickly.
Or maybe writers would have to be a little bit more creative with their writing instead of using resurrections willy nilly.
Dante Ashby dbz?
Don't tempt me.
I knew parts of Kravens story, but the ones i didnt know are quite interresting.
Anyway, i would love to hear a M.O.D.O.K. origin.
He sounds like general zaroff from The Most Dangerous Game
Two minor corrections; Kraven deliberately buried spiderman alive, with a timed drug that woudl wear off. He simply wanted enough time to prove he was the better Spiderman, and he need Spiderman alive to declare his triumph over him. Second, Vermin may be a rare villain to Spiderman, but he isn't minor; Spiderman wasn't able to beat him by himself the first time they fought, and needed Captain America's help.
John Richardson nice!
Thank you, your honor.
OBJECTION!
Kraven did not "unwittingly bury Spiderman alive and then become obsessed with impersonating him". He planned all of that from the start. He tranquilized Spiderman and expected him to free himself.
He had started to see Spiderman as some sort of demon that had plagued his family, and sought to overcome it. He even cleared Spiderman of the actions he committed in the 2 weeks in which he impersonated him.
They should stop rushing these lists and get their facts right.
Just had to come here after the Kraven the hunter movie trailer. Just to clarify any comic inaccuracies that trailer had in it and after watching this video it sure did had a lot.
Why are superhero movies nowadays not respecting any of the source material and always making a ton of inaccuracies? Oh that’s right it’s because they only care about Money.
Maybe he and Rhino can be integrated to the MCU by being two of MANY people that tried to recreate the super soldier serum.
The amazing spider-man 42 was the first comic i read
That works too!
My fave Spidey villain
Haha! Kraven was who I pictured when (at school) we had to read the story.
Kraven and Chameleon should definitely be the villains in the next Spider-Man movie.
2023: Year of Kraven
Just like 2022: Year of Morbius
If rumored, I wonder who will portray Kraven in the MCU...
Sergai Kravinoff is the half brother of The Chameleon and one of Spider-Man's most greatest villains to become the greatest villain known as Kraven the Hunter
Idea for SPIDER-MAN 3;
Peter goes to Avengers headquarters to hide from the world since his identity was revealed. The other avengers know Peter is innocent after being framed by Mysterio. Kraven the Hunter has his heart set on capturing Spider-Man and tries to best to catch Peter. Kraven is successful and takes Peter to his African home where all of his “trophies” are. Peter is then rescued by Black Panther and Shuri, but Kraven is still stronger than all three combined and a brutal fight bursts out resulting in T’Challas death( due to the passing of Chadwick Boseman). Peter finally gains the upper hand on kills Kraven. Peter comforts Shuri and at the same time the skrulls help clear peters name by impersonating him while the real Peter continues as Spider-Man. Due to T’Challa’s death Shuri will be ruler of Wakanda. Also what if Kraven is the one who hired or arranged for Klaue to steal the vibranium, keeping some for himself as well.
Fair enough, and I agree with you there. However, in the case of this video, they are taking the story from a specific story (Kraven's Last Hunt). All the information they needed was in there, and they got key information wrong.
That is what I objected to. It's spelled out very clearly in the book and they got it wrong big style.
Do tombstone next
HELL YAH!!!!
I never knew the part of him wanting to become Spider-man that is interesting.I like the rest of his family.
It was more that he wanted to prove that he was better than him. In the story he pits Spider-man against Vermin. Vermin took the advantage and just as he was about to kill him Kraven scared the rat away. After that he was at piece knowing that he had finally bested his most dangerous opponent and ended his life.
Yeah kraven
im talking about the 90's spiderman cartoon show, ya know the good one
Kraven's Last Hunt was a story line, not a comic book series title
That's the comic universe for ya, no one ever stays dead, except Uncle Ben. XDDDD
Can you do the Green Goblin next?
So zombie Kraven. Wow.
Chamaleon have no relation with the Red Skull in the comics, and in the comics, Max dillion is electro in the comics and he have no relation with the chamaleon
Have you done any of Flash's villains yet? Like Captains Cold and Boomerang?
that's because out side of those 2, there aren't many other villains! :P
Can you do all the Robins please?
He could be a good villain for the Venom movie series.
hmm you got a point there! :D
you should do an Origin on wasp (I think that was her name) she lied about Spiderman doing bad things about her so she could kill him, and use his body for something. also do one on Beast Boy the one that joins the Doom patrol and is a prisioner of Zookeeper who Batman and Robin Face and then they manage to free BB
Objection sustained.
Speaking of Hunters, Vargas from X-Men should be done on this series.
Superhero origins wonder man
WELCOME TO THE LEAGUE OF KRAAAAAVEN
He was also Australian in Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 3: Double Trouble
Luke Evans or Jason Moma or Gerald Butler or any other actor that could played Kraven in Black Panther 2 and Tom Holland next Spider-Man movie
I’m ready to see him in spider man 2
Kraven The hunter is coming on October
Everyone should watch the cool interpretation of Kraven in the fan film Spider-Man: Rise of a Legacy!
Do an origins on halrly Quinn
I've seen a Spider Man series, where Kraven was an ally of Spider Man.
Kraven is Fucking awesome!!!
It's Marvel's very own General Zaroff ("The Most Dangerous Game").
do one on galactus
wow that was a brutal way for a villian to die
Kraven vs punisher could be epic.
And The Darkness. And Ghost Rider.
SAXTON, HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALE
He remindes me of Saxton Hale
