Weired that out of 5 movies in two trucks are the antagonists. This shows that still trucks and truckers are considered "the bad" although without them our grocery stores would be empty within a single day. They literally keep the county rolling and we should pay much more respect to them. Also Black Dog should have been on this list too
When duel was originally shown on television the local station suddenly went off the air at the most exciting part. When the station finally came back on, they preempted the following program to show the end of the movie.
Neat video, but ol boy here needs to get some things right: the reason for Convoy for instance is they were protesting the treatment of truckers and the corruption in law enforcement. When he said there were 100 trucks to go save "Spider Mike", NOT true. The Duck went alone. The other 9 came along on their own.
All the license plates on the duel truck was because back then some states required you to have a plate from that state. So you would have to display it.
@@earlputnal9124 I know that, that’s why I stated why they would have had all the plates. I’m not sure why you say the “easy driver”, I’m not mad because they didn’t know, I’m simply telling them the correct information. LOL
@@earlputnal9124 talking the wall? Are you saying people that aren’t in trucking don’t have the ability to comprehend it? I’m not sure why people like you go on others comments and get into an argument over their comment. It’s like you are seeking attention and this is the only way you get it. Get a life man.
As already mentioned it's Jerry Reed and it's Hal Needham, not Hall. Buford T. Justice was to be her father-in-law. Also I know people pronounce words differently but it's Big & Little Enos (as pronounced in the movie Enus) and Texarkana (Texarcana). Even though it was a made for TV movie, I think Movin' On should get some attention as well as previous said White Line Fever & Breaker Breaker and to a point Rolling Vengeance.
I liked Big Trouble in Little China. Even though the FLC Freightliner wasn’t a main character, Kirt Russell did a damn good job of playing a cocky O/O as Jack Burton. 😂
Fun facts about Convoy. You showed in your clip the scene of the Sheriff jumping with the car, into the barn roof and a Still image of Widows truck, when it starts falling taking that curve. Both scenes happend by accident. In both cases, the driver had been to fast. The Scheriff was meant to drive into the building not fly through it. The other scene wasnt planed at all. Only thanks to the quick reaction of the camera man both scenes ended up on film. The director liked it and kept it in the finished version of the movie
Mention should be made of the Movin' On pilot, a made-for-TV movire starring the same actors who would appear in the TV series - Claude Akins and Frank Converse.
Great video. Convoy is the best I love that black mack! I'm always surprised that in smoky and the bandit people think that the truck belongs to the snowman. Its bandits truck you just have to look at the bandit holding up the stage!!!😊
A very good list of all the relevant trucking movies from the history of truck driving. Now if wecould get the industry to agree not to remove the driver. We could keep enjoying these same great movies. SMH.
You guys spelled the name Mac wrong.its correct spelling is Mack.please make sure of your spelling of the big rigs names.i am an old trucker of over 20 years on the highway.
You missed Willa with Its all Stars cast, featuring Cloris Leachman, and John Amos . James from Good times ,Yeah Cloris could Drive . I didnt even know . And she Drove a GMC General a Nice One too.. Yall got to see That one .Its on here Willa.. Guys dont Cry at the End . Its just the kind of Movie you dont what to end.. It Beat Duel ,Convoy , and Maximum Overdrive too .
Where was Chuck Norris? The movie "Breaker Breaker" was a bit more of his fighting, but was a trucker movie. A team of truckers ripped apart a corrupt town that had wrongfully detained Chuck's brother. A truck even drove through a parked helicopter. By ripped apart, I mean they flattened whole buildings.
Mack was making them at that time mack RS700L are one of the most popular trucking industry day cabs and sleeper cabs as well and the movie black dog had a peterbilt 379 and with a caterpillar 3406 diesel engine under the hood can really move a truck
To Mr. Johnni999. I believe it is an AI speaker. That would explain mistakes. IMO. I liked White Line Fever, with Jan Michael Vincent. I also liked the TV series Moving On, starring Claude Akins and Frank Converse.
Well at least this channel got the right make and model of truck that the goblin was because I've seen on other videos saying it was a kenworth W900 😂😂😂
Where's the movie White Line Fever??? It had lot of Cabovers, with Driver Always running long, hours to make Their deliveries. Or the Movie called Black Dog.???
TRULY I TRULY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY THE PART OF THE CONVOY ( WAS SHOWN ) ( BACKWARDS ) ????????????? TRULY I TRULY REALLY TRULY LOVE THE MOVIE ( DUEL ) .

That was an excellent reflection, I agree with you and yes, Black Dog will be in a future part 2. It's a movie I love 🔥

His name was Jerry Reed. Not Reddy.... He performed the soundtrack of Smokey and The Bandit. It´s even spelled out right in front of you :D
And the sheriff is the grooms father
And the director was Hal Needham, not Hall,..

What about White Line Fever? The Blue Mule was a “Bad A$$” rig. Great example of the underdog taking on “The Man”….
That's an excellent movie, for sure it will come out in a future part 2 🔥
That was my thought too it was a dam good movie better than a couple of those 😊
All the license plates on the duel truck was because back then some states required you to have a plate from that state. So you would have to display it.
Easy driver. The creator doesn't know the rules and regulations of trucking. Just that a movie was made that's relevant to the industry. LOL

Maximum overdrive was one of my favorite movies as a kid and i still love it
Duel all day every day 👍👍
Exactly 💯
I liked Big Trouble in Little China. Even though the FLC Freightliner wasn’t a main character, Kirt Russell did a damn good job of playing a cocky O/O as Jack Burton. 😂
Nothing beats Convoy but Duel and Maximum Overdrive are right after. Over the Top is a superb film but I wouldn’t call it a “Truck” movie per say
I agree. And as popular as Smokey and the Bandit is, it's not a truck movie.

Maximum Overdrive is one of the few movies I've seen several times :D It includes trucks and AC/DC, gotta love it!!
As well as the voice of Lisa Simpson lol
Mention should be made of the Movin' On pilot, a made-for-TV movire starring the same actors who would appear in the TV series - Claude Akins and Frank Converse.
As a truck driver myself since 1988 approved these videos. I still want my cabover
Some other that were good. Was breaker breaker. White line fever. High ballin .
Just mentioned those 3 movies in a comment along with black dog & thunder run .
Smokey and the Bandit and Convoy!
Great video.
Convoy is the best I love that black mack!
I'm always surprised that in smoky and the bandit people think that the truck belongs to the snowman. Its bandits truck you just have to look at the bandit holding up the stage!!!😊
Black dog should be on this list. By the way, I believe, the plates on the Duel Peterbilt were required by each state for trucking trough.
Absolutely black dog , Thunder run ,Hi ballin, Breaker breaker & White line fever would have made a great top ten .
A very good list of all the relevant trucking movies from the history of truck driving. Now if wecould get the industry to agree not to remove the driver. We could keep enjoying these same great movies. SMH.
You missed "Black Dog" (1998). 😉
it's in part 2, which you can find here: th-cam.com/video/J80uTL5EOlY/w-d-xo.html
Smokey and the Bandit. I bet I've seen it in part or in whole at LEAST 30 times.
It's campy. It's 70s. It's excellent. LOVE the trucks.
yör $hinink ^$$^
You missed one of the many. Where kids find a Chevy in a garage and steal it. And the trucker gets revenge. Pt1 and 2🤔
Smokey and abandoned is one of the best movies ever i'd love those movies when I was grown up as a kid straight classics
Smokey and the bandit *** might want to correct yourself
Spellcheck gotcha!
My #1 Mad Max Fury Road haha followed by Convoy White line fever and Smokey and the Bandit
I think convoy was the best trucker movie ever made and it inspired many of the convoys that occurred from anit COVID19 convoys to anit tmt convoys
My dad’s favorite is “Smokey and the Bandit”. I prefer “Maximum Overdrive”!
All great movies. I also like steel cowboy and Christmas comes to Willow Creek.
Nice 👍

Top 5 should've been Over The Top, Convoy, White Line Fever, Black Dog with Smokey and The Bandit still at number 1.
In Smokey and the bandit there is no such person as Jerry reddy the main person u really mean is Jerry reed
I LOVE THE MOVIE JOY RIDE
I love all five
Wow you haven’t watched any of these films have you! I’d love to know what you think the 4 tv Smokey and the bandit movies are?
Im surprised you didnt add Thunder Run (1986)
In the 60's and 70's, big rigs were required to have a license plate for every state they operated in. That's all there was to that.
Duel are the best!
Dad's favorite at #1!
Noone beats convoy and His Mack RL700L 😂💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

TRUCKS I LIKED THAT MOVIE, back when I was a kid I liked TV shows MOVING ON and BJ AND THE BEAR.
What about The Road Warrior?
YOU ALSO FORGOT ABOUT THE MOVIE CALLED WHITE LINE FEVER ( 1973 )
To Mr. Johnni999. I believe it is an AI speaker. That would explain mistakes. IMO.
I liked White Line Fever, with Jan Michael Vincent. I also liked the TV series Moving On, starring Claude Akins and Frank Converse.
For me there's only 1 truck movie and that's Smokey and the Bandit !!!
I've seen those movies at least 15x maybe even more !!!
Maximum overdrive yeah!
.like them all❤❤...
Well at least this channel got the right make and model of truck that the goblin was because I've seen on other videos saying it was a kenworth W900 😂😂😂
my favorite trukkin film has to be convoy then second has to be maximum overdrive
Twinstick Garage has the best looking smokey and the bandit truck
Where's the movie White Line Fever??? It had lot of Cabovers, with Driver Always running long, hours to make Their deliveries. Or the Movie called Black Dog.???
Trucks run multiple plates to insured in multiple provinces or states
Maximum Overdrive!
DUEL
Duel should be shown to every car driver before they get their license!
smokey and the bandit 1000000000%
Jerry Reed. Not Reddy.
#1 "... and Jerry Ready" WHAT?
👍👍👍👍
I thought it was a 1974 Western Star
Who the hell is Jerry Reddy 😂😂😂how could you make such a monumental F up with Jerry's name he's a legend for god sake 😂😂😂
Convoy
All
AI voiceovers......sad.
Gutes Video. Zu viel Werbung dafür daumen runter
WHY all these AI generated videos? Fairly inaccurate too.
??
What about High Ballin 🤔
part 2?... 👀
TRULY I TRULY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY THE PART OF THE CONVOY ( WAS SHOWN ) ( BACKWARDS ) ????????????? TRULY I TRULY REALLY TRULY LOVE THE MOVIE ( DUEL ) .
I'd reason to guess, this person was worried about violating copy right laws ?, which is why so many things were wrong in the video.
