The Air Quality Index of India is in an alarming condition. Out of the top 50 most polluted cities, 42 are Indian cities… Delhi sitting right at the top!
The AQI index measures the amount of pollutants in the air and the scale expands till 500. But a recent survey revealed Delhi had crossed 900 mark, that isn’t even measured by the scale, just imagine! There are so many experiments proving that if you live in any of the top Indian metropolitan cities and you still haven’t smoked a cigarette… Well, not a big deal, your lungs might still be as damaged as of a serial smokers’.
There are many reasons behind the low AQI of India, but we can do 2 things about it!
1- Sit and wait for the govt to take action

1- we are moving towards electric vehicles
2-people are now using more and more lpg cylinder instead of burning wood and coal for cooking
Evs are trash avg 1 ev production consume 10plugin hybrid 20 hybrid and 40petrol cars polution at once the information is given by worlds largest car maker TOYOTA itself
Bro your ev is probably charged by electricity which is produced by burning coal. And that's much toxic than burning refined petroleum.
In order to produce evs, we mine lithium in order to use it in batteries. The pollution caused inb mining is no less than a petrol vehicle...
What about pollution generated by factories, that's one of the main factor.

I live in pune and there aqi is more Than 350 always it's very rare when it gose below 350 as young generation we stand tougher to fight for this problem rather fighting on reglious matter

i live near delhi and aqi always remains here between 90-150 everytime, while in lockdown when factories were shut it was always below 50...

I am concerned about air pollution since years when I found aqi in my area more than 300 and even worse in other cities. In 2022, one of my mausi died😢 due lung infection and one sis is also diagnosed with the same disease. Why are not they raise these issues in elections? Soon I am gonna bring a revolutionary change.
