Every guard needs screens. I personally never understood that argument. Nobody can consistently create space 1v1 against world-class athletes without burning out.

If a 50% 3 pt shooter is not an elite to you, then I don't know what is.

I generally agree with everything said here. Great analysis. That said, he's still currently #5 on my board. If you have to be able to view him as a primary ball handler in order to consider him top 5 then I get not having him there. Personally I don't. Over the years I've learned to value the guys that feel like safe role players in the low end outcome more than most people. So I'm not afraid to place them high.

He makes tons of difficult shots and still is shooting over 51% from 3. You clearly cherry picked

He'll be a demon of a role player for somebody. But if you are picking top 5 you gotta be looking for upside and I don't know if he's go it with his physical limitations.

I been singing his praises for a while. I hope he continues to get better and goes to the right situation more than anything

Reed reminds me somewhat of a smaller Duncan Robinson tbh, which is to say I don’t see him as a top 5 pick

Everyone seems to assume that he will go this year. I think that he and is family are smart and patient enough to wait unless Cal leaves. Not a love affair with Cal, but understanding the issues with coaching changes.

Also if UK DOESN'T WIN A TITLE THIS YEAR OR AT LEAS A FINAL FOUR HE WILL BE BACK, JUST FOR THAT REASON HE IS A UK BORN & BREAD HERO THAT IS WANTING TO HELP BRING #9 BACK TO MY OL KENTUCKY HOME.

BBN knows his defense is lacking he is good at certain defense aspects but we all know he’s not a good defender.

So good! If I want a small PG, Kolek is way more functional. Reed is a sg, but he could play a role like VanVleet did in the Toronto championship team.

Your right I don’t think he’s a top 5 pick due to the fact he’s undersized and I don’t think he’s a primary ball handler

Look dud I don't want to harp on your diagnosis of Reed not being a one handed passer, the reason you do NOT SEE THAT FROM HIM OR ANY UK PLAYER IS. IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE WAY CAL. COACHES HIS PLAYER IS ALWAYS YOU DO EVERYTHING WITH TWO HANDS, SO HE IS BEING COACH FUNDAMENTALS NOT ESPN LOW AVG. PASSES, PLUS HIS ASS. - T.O. RATE IS OUTSTANDING FOR A FRESHMAN POINT G.
SO THISIS AN UNFAIR ASSESSMENT. BECAUSE LOOK AT ROB'S T.O. RATE. SO JUST THINK ABOUT THAT, & IM ONE THAT THINK THAT HIS INCONSISTENTY IS WHY HE NEED ANOTHER YEAR, UNLIKE REEVES WHO IS A AUTOMATIC 20+A NIGHT PLAYER

He is a basketball player with a high IQ.....He is a better athlete than he is given credit...The comparison to Duncan Robinson is laughable....Robinson is a catch and shoot 3 point shooter...He is terrible defensively and doesn't create anything for his teammates....Robinson has a role and does it well.....Reed isn't a top 5 pick but what he does is help his teammates...His defense has improved over the year but his ball watching is typical of most freshmen...That will improve....His ball instincts and anticipation are second to none...I've never seen a guard that has blocked as many three point shots as he has done this year...His shooting form is really good....I disagree with you on passing with one hand....I think there is a place for that but Rob has turned it over as much as he has succeeded in doing it....I think Reed was taught the two hand pass and it leads to less mistakes....by the numbers Reed is sitting at 76 steals on the season the UK record is 87 by Rajon Rondo...28 min a game...12.5 ppg 53.8 FG% 60-116 3pt FG for a 51.7% ....83.1% FT 4.4 Reb 22 blocks Assists 119 turnovers 52....hard to find a more efficient player...Evan Miyakawa has him at the 4th rated player in his top 10 of all college basketball players....I think he is could be a piece for an NBA team... is he worthy of a top 5 pick no but I've seen worse players taken in the top 5....Is he a safe pick from 10 to 20? Absolutely...

He’s a great passer u only showed his few mistakes

His father developed into an amazing shooter coming off screens in his senior year with a quick release, high lift and a defender in his face. Reed is so far ahead of his father at this stage. Pitino tried running Jeff at PG but it was a disaster. I believe for many reasons he'll probably stay another year. Wishful thinking probably.

All I'm gonna say is that Reed is more Seth Curry than Steph Curry, he's not a Top 5 pick IMO even in a draft as weak as this one at the top.

    • @OwskiiiGaming
      @OwskiiiGaming 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

He like neither one of them, when it comes to the mentality he’s more Steph Seth plays with no drive, aggressiveness toughness or nothing. Also just a really smart 2. Reed is a legit pg at 6’3.
