Throughout his freshman year at Kentucky, Reed Sheppard gave us a taste of how he can come into the NBA and be a very reliable player that can contribute right away.
His extremely high IQ, his unselfishness, and his efficiency is something that every team needs as a complementary piece.

The guy absolutely makes it his goal that every time he goes on the court, he will not be outworked. This bit of character and his talent made him so good last year. Two years with an NBA trainer...look out! And he if he gets that dog in him, WOW! When he masters the art of body control with that extra strength, he will be able to dislodge defenders to finish drives. Much like Brunson.

I can say this kid should’ve gone number 1. NBA teams need to stop listening to mock drafts and form their own assessments. Seems Reeds abilities have similarities to Curry's quick feet placement off of pass and shoot plays, Bird's defensive intelligence especially in passing lanes & also Bird's best attribute, the 3 comes natural now from muscle memory. Seems he will be a solid SG, 6th man of the year and All-Star in the NBA future, a legit Defensive Sniper off the bench.

Rockets' fan here. I like this kid's shot. He looks like guaranteed range when we need it and also has tenacity. Dare I saw he could do for us what Austin Reaves does for the Lakers. I mean 3rd pick is hell of high, but looking at we already have it makes sense.
