My grandmother sent me a letter from heaven. She came to me in a dream 2 Christmases ago. I have never loved anyone more than my grandmother. She came to me and told me she was happy and she was absolutely beautiful there w as a beautiful light and golden sparkles lit her face up. After that dream my grief subsided.
Sometimes those letters from heaven happen in the most quirky and unusual ways. Here's my story and and hope anyone going through a tough time finds a little strength and faith in this if they are going through a tough time. Here goes. The first summer I lost my mom there was a Friday where I was at work totally not looking forward to the idea of going home to an empty apartment and spending the weekend alone.Anyway I went to the back of our shop and now my heart is breaking. More because of the way i let my idiot boss talk to me without the asking him ...who exactly are you talking to. Anyway as I'm out back and the tears are rolling down my cheeks this beautiful red monarch butterfly circles over my head. Its first circle I dont really notice so it circles again almost crashing into me. Anyway that's my story and I do really hope its legacy is that anyone reading this surrenders themselves to the beauty and mystery of the universe and receives their own letter from heaven in any form. Hey, that was awesome and thank you for sharing I have one similar, The late part of summer in 2021 the yr Alisha went to heaven a great friend of mine who had also lost her son yrs B4 my Alisha ,but Tammy and I went swimming at our friends house and we swam a minute got out layed in our chairs in the sun and the most beautiful butterfly blue and yellow flying and landed on my big toe and sat there for a good minute 1st thing I thought of That is Alisha and it kinda went up just a few seconds, landed back on my big toe OMG I just felt it was her it gets better. Tammy and I talked about it and all and we cried 😭😭😭 that hardly stops but, her and I went back over not the next day but the next and Lord and Behold That same butterfly 🦋🦋🦋 repeated the very same thing that it did the 1st time it happened It was for real my Angel Alisha so out to get a tattoo of a bfly on my shoulder with music notes 🎶🎶 above her A and a ❤️ with like a wavy string u would tie a balloon 🎈 to at the last A in Alisha My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone one here That is most definitely worst pain I have or even could imagine and your heart does literally hurt and there's that void it's a long process and then it is still so hard to process I know God has our Angels up there ,no more hurt pain or tears. My eyes sure does miss her face Mama Loves You Alisha Marie and I Thank and Praise God everyday for giving her to me for the 26 wonderful, beautiful, unforgettable yrs. God has you in his keeping sweetie ,we have you in our 💕💕🥰🥰😭❤️🙏🙏😭
I lost my best friend, my soul mate - my husband. He fought cancer valiantly for 5 years. But on March 3rd, 2018 I held him while he took his last breath. I lost my daughter in 1998, she was 16. Everyone told me she was in heaven but I said until I receive a letter from heaven I wouldn't believe it. A week later I went to the post office and received a dollar bill back from the change. On the back to the dollar bill the verse of John 3:16 was written in pink. I got my letter from heaven from God. I still cherish that dollar bill. How can I disregard what was sent to me, not only the verse but on dollar bills it is written "In God We Trust".

My father , 76 years old, was murdered in July 18, 2017. I am terminally ill with stage IV Metastatic breast cancer. Its in both breasts, both lungs, many limp nodes, and my bladder. This is my second round of breast cancer. I'm 42 years old. I will be with my father and Jesus as soon as my work on this Earth is over. Thank you so much for your beautiful song. It's coming up on two years since my Father died. Yes, I cried through the whole song. My Dad held me and let me cry, even as an adult. He was, and still is my hero. He worked six days a week (nightshift) to provide for his family the majority of his life, until his body couldn't work anymore. He chose not to have surgery for his cancer because it meant he would have to sleep sitting up, and he wouldn't be able to cuddle with my Mom. They were married over 52 years. He died knowing Jesus, and is up there in heaven now cracking them all up. He was one of the funniest men I've ever had the privilege of knowing. He taught my brothers and I right from wrong. The only happiness I have is knowing he's happy, and whole, walking with Jesus, and waiting for us. Thank you again for this beautiful song. Bless you.

Thank you so much , if I can type through the ever flowing amount of tears to express my love for this song. You have no idea how much this song means to me , im so glad I found it, see I lost my Grandmother last Sept to breast cancer and at the time we were at the hospital and found out horrible news she had been neglected by my uncle and we were never told of this health major health issue, until she was abandoned at the hospital by him. My point is this the letter from heaven hit my heart like a brick. See my Grandmother was as old fashioned as they come, and no cell phone no emails, you can write to me with letters and I can write them to you . So for years and years I got letters from here and she did from me and one day I realized I didn't get a bday card and I found out why. She was dying a horrible death by breast cancer and we were never told. I stayed with her along with my family until she passed. This song will help me heal from this pain I have and yes my heart is beating but lies broken in my chest.

We lost my hubby in January and my mom on the 12th of this month. Both chose to be cremated, and in stead of the usual funeral services, we chose to celebrate their lives and the love they shared with this world while they were here. I wish I had known about this song before both services. I've been listening to it on repeat for days since I ran across it. This song feels like I imagine it would feel if my house was on fire, fully engulfed and looking like a total lost cause, when a giant toddler shows up on-scene, dropping a giant wet blanket over the top of the house, putting out the fire completely and saving the day. This song is a balm for the raw, jagged area that has been ripped from my soul. Thank you.

tshetler1 He was fishing the banks of a river with my grandparents and uncles that went before him before we could get his earthly body to the funeral home. Of that I'm sure! I lost my mum in May four weeks after she died after discovering she had cancer and my dad 34 years ago age 54 and on Friday there it was there first wedding anniversary after all these years sadly when she was in hospital I couldn't visit as I wasn't allowed due to me being steriod dependent but her wish was that she wanted home so we managed to get her home and she passed away so peacefully and I was sitting talking to her and my sisters and brother we were all with her I was telling her that my dad was waiting and I have never seen anyone pass away as she did we didn't even know she was gone as she made no sound at all the one thing that keeps me away me going is she is with the only man she loved and that we got the chance to tell her that we were so proud of her and memories we had after dad passed away and I know it still hasn't really sank in yet as I can't cry 😢and it's the house phone that gets me as she was the only one that rang it all day we would speak about 10 times a day and I think when it rings that will be the time miss her so very much x❤

When my mother died at the end of a long illness, all my father wanted to do was join her. It took me quite a while to make him think it was worth staying around for the rest of the family. He thought she was all he had, but he took a long time to get over her death, I don't think he ever got over it. He would suddenly look over at her chair and he thought for a moment she was there, maybe not in body, but he often said he felt her presence. When he died at 83 he had a big smile on his face. He had gone to meat her, if there is such a place. I still miss them both. I hope they are happy where they have gone. Next month is when they both died, it is a sad time, but a time when both enter my thoughts more than ever. I never loose sight of who they were and what they did to bring up a family in very hard times for them. I loved them both.

We helped her sit in her chair , She turned to me and said..Everything would be alright. Then she repeated she loved me , It was the hardest day of my life. She passed away just a month before my 23rd birthday she was my best friend , I shared everything with her. My life is changing very much it's hard that she isn't here to see it. She would have been proud of me , I'll miss her everyday until she comes to take me home with her.

I lost my cousin almost 7 months ago. He died a day before my 17th birthday and he would’ve been 17 in a month and 2 weeks. I was fine going to college etc and hiding my emotions but since lockdown I feel like I can’t escape how I feel anymore. He meant so much to me and he had duchenne muscular dystrophy so we knew he would go but never knew when. I saw him just under a week before he died and he was in hospital because he couldn’t eat anymore. He was so frail but I thought nothing off it when he came home on the Thursday. My aunt told my mum the Friday that he didn’t have long left. She was gonna tell us Monday after my birthday but he passed on the Saturday about 12 hours before my 17th birthday. I understand the pain everyone’s feeling I really do
Beautiful and very touching song I lost my Dad 31 yrs ago he was 54 yrs when he passed away March 21,1990 I miss my Dad everyday I was 17 yrs when I seen my Dad take his last breath it was very devastating day his last words to me was take care of my mom and that he believed and had faith in me that I would be very sucessful in life in whatever I decided to do . I haven't been on fb or Google that long, I found out on my own how to use this phone and I have to say I think I like Google better than fb because on fb I mainly have my family which is nice but on Google I go by what the people post to determine what circle I put them in which is different then fb. I lost my mom April 29th 2016 and then her sister (my 2nd mom) 12 days later..My mom went suddenly, very unexpected but due to health problems. My Aunt had stomach cancer. She said my mom was there to get her and she was going with her. I have not been the same since. Like I'm numb and I'm just going threw life in a dream waiting to see my moms again. When a dear friend lost her mum I went to see her and I saw her spirit in the room holding a letter in her hands, when I told my friend this she burst into tears as she had put a letter in her mums coffin, so her mum knew this and proved to her life does go on, so don't cry for them as they are always with you and will love you as you loved them.
In tears now.... I dedicate this to my loving mother, She passed away last year. I was on the road trying to get to her before God took her, But I didnt make. I still morn her lose to this very day, and still hurt really bad indise......

Sometimes those letters from heaven happen in the most quirky and unusual ways. Here's my story and and hope anyone going through a tough time finds a little strength and faith in this if they are going through a tough time. Here goes. The first summer I lost my mom there was a Friday where I was at work totally not looking forward to the idea of going home to an empty apartment and spending the weekend alone.Anyway I went to the back of our shop and now my heart is breaking. More because of the way i let my idiot boss talk to me without the asking him ...who exactly are you talking to. Anyway as I'm out back and the tears are rolling down my cheeks this beautiful red monarch butterfly circles over my head. Its first circle I dont really notice so it circles again almost crashing into me. Anyway that's my story and I do really hope its legacy is that anyone reading this surrenders themselves to the beauty and mystery of the universe and receives their own letter from heaven in any form. Hey, that was awesome and thank you for sharing I have one similar, The late part of summer in 2021 the yr Alisha went to heaven a great friend of mine who had also lost her son yrs B4 my Alisha ,but Tammy and I went swimming at our friends house and we swam a minute got out layed in our chairs in the sun and the most beautiful butterfly blue and yellow flying and landed on my big toe and sat there for a good minute 1st thing I thought of That is Alisha and it kinda went up just a few seconds, landed back on my big toe OMG I just felt it was her it gets better. Tammy and I talked about it and all and we cried 😭😭😭 that hardly stops but, her and I went back over not the next day but the next and Lord and Behold
That same butterfly 🦋🦋🦋 repeated the very same thing that it did the 1st time it happened It was for real my Angel Alisha so out to get a tattoo of a bfly on my shoulder with music notes 🎶🎶 above her A and a ❤️ with like a wavy string u would tie a balloon 🎈 to at the last A in Alisha My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone one here That is most definitely worst pain I have or even could imagine and your heart does literally hurt and there's that void it's a long process and then it is still so hard to process I know God has our Angels up there ,no more hurt pain or tears. My eyes sure does miss her face Mama Loves You Alisha Marie and I Thank and Praise God everyday for giving her to me for the 26 wonderful, beautiful, unforgettable yrs. I lost my daughter in 1998, she was 16. Everyone told me she was in heaven but I said until I receive a letter from heaven I wouldn't believe it. A week later I went to the post office and received a dollar bill back from the change. On the back to the dollar bill the verse of John 3:16 was written in pink. I got my letter from heaven from God. I still cherish that dollar bill. How can I disregard what was sent to me, not only the verse but on dollar bills it is written "In God We Trust".

My father , 76 years old, was murdered in July 18, 2017. I am terminally ill with stage IV Metastatic breast cancer. Its in both breasts, both lungs, many limp nodes, and my bladder. This is my second round of breast cancer. I'm 42 years old. I will be with my father and Jesus as soon as my work on this Earth is over. Thank you so much for your beautiful song. It's coming up on two years since my Father died. Yes, I cried through the whole song. My Dad held me and let me cry, even as an adult. He was, and still is my hero. He worked six days a week (nightshift) to provide for his family the majority of his life, until his body couldn't work anymore. He chose not to have surgery for his cancer because it meant he would have to sleep sitting up, and he wouldn't be able to cuddle with my Mom. They were married over 52 years. He died knowing Jesus, and is up there in heaven now cracking them all up. He was one of the funniest men I've ever had the privilege of knowing. He taught my brothers and I right from wrong. The only happiness I have is knowing he's happy, and whole, walking with Jesus, and waiting for us. Thank you again for this beautiful song. Bless you.

Thank you so much , if I can type through the ever flowing amount of tears to express my love for this song. You have no idea how much this song means to me , im so glad I found it, see I lost my Grandmother last Sept to breast cancer and at the time we were at the hospital and found out horrible news she had been neglected by my uncle and we were never told of this health major health issue, until she was abandoned at the hospital by him. My point is this the letter from heaven hit my heart like a brick. See my Grandmother was as old fashioned as they come, and no cell phone no emails, you can write to me with letters and I can write them to you . So for years and years I got letters from here and she did from me and one day I realized I didn't get a bday card and I found out why. She was dying a horrible death by breast cancer and we were never told. I stayed with her along with my family until she passed. This song will help me heal from this pain I have and yes my heart is beating but lies broken in my chest.

We lost my hubby in January and my mom on the 12th of this month. Both chose to be cremated, and in stead of the usual funeral services, we chose to celebrate their lives and the love they shared with this world while they were here.
I wish I had known about this song before both services. I've been listening to it on repeat for days since I ran across it. This song feels like I imagine it would feel if my house was on fire, fully engulfed and looking like a total lost cause, when a giant toddler shows up on-scene, dropping a giant wet blanket over the top of the house, putting out the fire completely and saving the day.

I lost my mum in May four weeks after she died after discovering she had cancer and my dad 34 years ago age 54 and on Friday there it was there first wedding anniversary after all these years sadly when she was in hospital I couldn't visit as I wasn't allowed due to me being steriod dependent but her wish was that she wanted home so we managed to get her home and she passed away so peacefully and I was sitting talking to her and my sisters and brother we were all with her I was telling her that my dad was waiting and I have never seen anyone pass away as she did we didn't even know she was gone as she made no sound at all the one thing that keeps me away me going is she is with the only man she loved and that we got the chance to tell her that we were so proud of her and memories we had after dad passed away and I know it still hasn't really sank in yet as I can't cry 😢and it's the house phone that gets me as she was the only one that rang it all day we would speak about 10 times a day and I think when it rings that will be the time miss her so very much x❤

When my mother died at the end of a long illness, all my father wanted to do was join her. It took me quite a while to make him think it was worth staying around for the rest of the family. He thought she was all he had, but he took a long time to get over her death, I don't think he ever got over it. He would suddenly look over at her chair and he thought for a moment she was there, maybe not in body, but he often said he felt her presence. When he died at 83 he had a big smile on his face. He had gone to meat her, if there is such a place. I still miss them both. I hope they are happy where they have gone.
Next month is when they both died, it is a sad time, but a time when both enter my thoughts more than ever. I never loose sight of who they were and what they did to bring up a family in very hard times for them. I loved them both.

I promise you she's with God. I've seen Jesus and there is a heaven. He showed me a vision of the daughter we should adopt. We were offered another child but I told my husband that's not who I saw. The next baby was her. She is now 41. After13 years of marriage I had a baby girl and saw her in a vision by just asking. Believe, things are just as they say in the Bible. Miracles still happen and your Mom is safe.

This made me tear up , I lost my mother this year to lung cancer she lived for 11 months. I stayed by her side each and everyday until god took her home , I still morn her every day . She worried about me until the very end she always seemed to worry about everything , Until the morning before her passing. We helped her sit in her chair , She turned to me and said..Everything would be alright. Then she repeated she loved me , It was the hardest day of my life. She passed away just a month before my 23rd birthday she was my best friend , I shared everything with her. My life is changing very much it's hard that she isn't here to see it. She would have been proud of me , I'll miss her everyday until she comes to take me home with her.

I lost my cousin almost 7 months ago. He died a day before my 17th birthday and he would’ve been 17 in a month and 2 weeks. I was fine going to college etc and hiding my emotions but since lockdown I feel like I can’t escape how I feel anymore. He meant so much to me and he had duchenne muscular dystrophy so we knew he would go but never knew when. I saw him just under a week before he died and he was in hospital because he couldn’t eat anymore. He was so frail but I thought nothing off it when he came home on the Thursday. My aunt told my mum the Friday that he didn’t have long left. She was gonna tell us Monday after my birthday but he passed on the Saturday about 12 hours before my 17th birthday. I understand the pain everyone’s feeling I really do

Dear Tim, You are Blessed! My Mom was 100% Christian, she had angels come to her when she needed any help and prayed! It was miraculous and I know a lot of people use the expression, " it was luck" but my Mom didn't believe in luck! She wanted to go home so bad that finally He gave in because she fought so hard, she was 94 and so tired, all she wanted was for everyone to Love! She said, " wouldn't that be great! I didn't expect you to actually read what I wrote and respond back! When I respond to a post I say my true feelings and it helps how I feel! I haven't been on fb or Google that long, I found out on my own how to use this phone and I have to say I think I like Google better than fb because on fb I mainly have my family which is nice but on Google I go by what the people post to determine what circle I put them in which is different then fb. I enjoy nature, animals, flowers, inspirational quotes with pictures and funny videos of mainly cats and listening to songs like this one, something that touches my heart and reading inspirational quotes with pictures! My I could probably go on but it sounds pretty much like I'm an inspirational person. I really appreciate your response, I feel blessed!

Mr. Shetler what an amazing song. It instantly made tears roll down my face. It hit home so hard to me. I lost my wife of 35 years Jan. 14, 2017. This song says everything I feel and I want to say Thank You for writing it. I've tried but still can not get through the second verse with out crying my heart out. There is only one other song that effected me the way yours did and that was by Joey and Rory called When I'm Gone.

I lost my mom April 29th 2016 and then her sister (my 2nd mom) 12 days later..My mom went suddenly, very unexpected but due to health problems. My Aunt had stomach cancer. She said my mom was there to get her and she was going with her. I have not been the same since. Like I'm numb and I'm just going threw life in a dream waiting to see my moms again. When a dear friend lost her mum I went to see her and I saw her spirit in the room holding a letter in her hands, when I told my friend this she burst into tears as she had put a letter in her mums coffin, so her mum knew this and proved to her life does go on, so don't cry for them as they are always with you and will love you as you loved them.
