      idk about success necessarily, if you have both you're very lucky... but I'd say freedom in creativity is the key to happiness in whatever profession you pursue.

      Must have been a stressful time for them, trying to find a home for their 808, their piano, and their minimoog, poor guys.

      Being homeless is not just living on the streets, maybe they where living with friends or saving to buy a house or many other reasons...Think, don't judge.

    Remember when music was fun and spontaneous?

    • @nartguy
      @nartguy 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      its still spontaneous, you just never saw all this behind the scenes shit before, it usually goes like this for the musicians, so that the public enjoys it more :)

    • @butteo
      @butteo 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've never seen a band rehearsing?! The problem is that when you program anything beforehand, it doesn't matter how you trigger it, it isn't the same as playing an instrument live. That is the problem "computer" music must solve.

    • @nartguy
      @nartguy 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I meant recording. They are still playing live, they just have background music playing, that they composed beforehand . Even that they are paying attention and choosing when/if to trigger or not, it is spontaneous.
      Theres a drummer, a violinist, and consider Push2 as a synthesizer.
      Now i get what you mean, I prefer live instruments as well, but you said spontaneous, and this can be fun and spontaneous man, trust me.

    • @butteo
      @butteo 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      OK I will trust you. It may be fun for the trigger pushers, but the "performance" at the end of this little series of vids was sterile and uninspiring. My point is in a "live performance" I want some performance, some drama, not people looking down at a table pushing buttons on very expensive boxes.

    • @nartguy
      @nartguy 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yeah, about this one I get ya, this was kinda unprofessional and a bunch of moody artists. As of the drama and performance I think it really depends on what you go to see man, its of subject. It could be people looking down at their guitars or synths and pushing buttons, it doesn't make it different just because it looks real.
      Im a guitarist myself, and a producer for the past 2-3 years, I used to see things the way you do but getting behind the scenes on this changed my mind.
