How was he obsessed? He fancied her but he didn't attempt to rape her? He didn't tell Pete he was a better father? He isn't turning into Shane, he has been out in the wilderness for a long time and not adjusted to a quieter life
You know, everyone says stuff like “I hated Rick in this part” or “he had no right to just barge into Alexandria and tell them what to do” But in my opinion, he was only trying to warn them and straighten them out and get them ready for the world outside of Alexandria’s walls.
Literally everything he says foreshadows incidents. Her keeping Pete alive leads to her own husbands death. The incompetence of the Alexandrian people gets a lot of them killed by wolves who have the "fight or die" mindset. And to add insult to injury, their plans for safety fold in on them when the walker horde storms Alexandria (hence the "you act like you know but you don't"). I just noticed how during Rick’s outburst the kid stood behind Carol. Man,she acted cold but he wanted to be with her nonetheless. She was afraid of losing another child,so she closed herself off,but she regretted all that after the kid died.
I just watched this scene for the first time yesterday, absolutely brilliant! And it really shows how far over the edge Rick has gone and shows just how much hes changes. What I was saying was Rick had a crush on Jessie and Pete was abusing her and her kid, Rick now thinks that taking out Pete is justified. Whereas Shane just had a crush on Lori and had no means of justifying killing Rick.
@@cactusmalone pete beat his family, that’s why rick targeted him. rick didn’t beat his family, but shane targeted him.

Rick Became Shane
How ? Pete started the fight.
More the speech than the fight that sounded like Shane. Compare this speech to Shane in season 2 and you'll understand.
Pete may have started the fight physically but Rick was the creep obsessing over a married woman he didn't even know
How was he obsessed? He fancied her but he didn't attempt to rape her? He didn't tell Pete he was a better father? He isn't turning into Shane, he has been out in the wilderness for a long time and not adjusted to a quieter life
John Abruzzi Hey John, your son is an ass
Crazy how alot of people in this scene are dead now.
Yea they killed so many characters in season 5 and 6.
😢
Like 90% of the people ok that scene are dead lmao
Only 3 people are alive in this scene and this scene had around 15 people
it took reg death for Deanna to understand that rick was right
Ricks words are literally Shane’s words from the barn from season 2 and I love it
I saw the red balloon and I'm like "Pennywise where ya at bro?!" 😂😂
He's always been running Alexandria from the shadows lol
Where
Edit: Nevermind
Rick will float too :p
@@AmbientMess 🤣
😂😂
The moment rick began to lose himself and went mad, i miss these times
He's completely in the right here, sure a bit dire, but Michonne made a mistake here by knocking him out.
Yup they get recruited in because they what to do.Had they not been there when there guys with the W attack then which woulda happened or the saviors they would have had no training and been compeltely messed up anyways and been wiped out.Rick recognizes all of the threats and is stressing this to them
Literally NEVER heard anyone say that bullshit opinio😂😂😂 (at least specifically the Rick in this part, ie the fight), cuz that bastard deserved. And if referring to his general impact on the town… it was a god damn much needed wake up call for those sheep
"We are the ones who live"
You just shit & plan & hepatitis
The way michonne slowly turned her head to deanna not saying a word... her face. Even before she admitted why she knocked rick out we all knew why. She was protecting him and i dnt think anyone else couldve stepped up in that moment the way she did.
"We're the ones who live"
Coming back to this scene is interesting. Rick was raving a bit like a lunatic but that's the place he had to get to in order to say what needed to be said. And everything he said was on point.
When the music starts in at "You're way of thinking" to when Michone hits rick in the head. That's the realest/best part of the whole show.
2:56 REFERENCE
michonne just goes yall need to calm down
OR WHAT? YOU GONNA KICK ME OUT!? that line is awesome
Rick is slowly becoming what Shane was.
ThatGuitarGuy Shane was ahead of the game
Good... Lori would be alive if he was like Shane earlier.
I had a shirt made after season 2 ended that said " Shane was right" and my gf hated that shirt for a few years.... Til this season came out... And she finally understands now. I would kill anyone to protect my family. Period.
@@goosegaming6548 Rick DID kill anyone to protect his family. That's why he killed Shane. Shane didn't "love" Lori, he was obsessed with her and even if he did get away with killing Rick he probably would've killed Lori later out of jealousy or something. He wasn't right in the head. Rick has been through a lot and it's left him a bit unhinged too but at the end of the day, Shane could have never led that group the way Rick did. Rick cared about the group, Shane only cared about Lori and Carl.
Goose Gaming we all know if Shane was in charge he would have gotten everyone either killed or he’d kill all of them
Goose Gaming Lori died from being pregnant my guy. No amount of Rick making the tough call would’ve stopped that. If anything Shane killed Lori by getting her pregnant.
the way rick delivers the “me” line reminds me of the joker
Man this scene was EPIC! One of my all time favorites
1:17 when the food ready
This rick is literally shane in season 2 when shane's making a speech about walkers and opened hershel's barn full of walkers.
Turned into Shane
Honestly. Michone kinda ruined the moment
She did it because it probably would have ended with Rick killing someone
wonderyear yeah I really got pissed of at that moment
Felix Stewart would you've seriously cared if rick killed any of them?
Michonne made the Right Call.
To be fair, if it came to that, they would have just killed all of them lol. The original Alexandria people were weak as fuck.
There was an epic fail here lmao 😂 Glenn suddenly disappeared at 2:25 then appears after a few seconds
Venice Margarette k
He was under the dumpster
Venice Margarette they probably didnt catch him on camera lol 😂
Venice Margarette I noticed that too, inconsistency.
You can briefly see his foot in the bottom corner

Exactly why the FUCK are the supporting beams on the OTHER side of the fence?
because the walls say fuck logic, like all the characters in the show
johnnymccraze Yes, let's put a fence up and have a large part of the work happen on the side of the zombies.
Brilliant.
The walls are built on a hill so it's best to put the support beams on the side where they WONT fall over
Viva WAkaNDA What? No they aren't. They're placed on fairly solid ground. Besides, even if that was the case, the pressure comes from the outside, and so the support beams should be on the inside. You'd probably just dig them into the side of the hill if what you said was accurate. It's more work, but it's also _your_ brains.
AsifIcarebear3 lol I never noticed that before.
"HEY! THAT CHOKE HOLD IS ILLEGAL!!!" -daryl season 1
File a complaint
Rick took the first punch and asked if he wanted to stop now hahaha. Love it.
“Were the ones who live”
This is where “we’re the ones who live” came from
Shane in hell probably like “That’s right Rick let it out dig deep & find that rage”
"Good. Use your aggressive feelings, Rick. Let the hate flow through you."
3:58 I can’t stop laughing at Rick’s “You mean me?”
3:36 Carol is really proud about Rick😂😂
It took me a while to truly appreciate this season. It was the farm season 2.0 and this was Rick's barn scene!
This was the best season
@@idontknowwhattoputformyuse1104 I know it's an unpopular opinion but season 2 is my favorite.

when I first saw when Michonne knocked Rick out I was like "DAMNNNN"
This is honestly my favorite character in all of pop culture. They actually develop him. Imagine watching 3:54 in season 1.
Back when this show had soul and interesting characters.
Yup. And it feels like the show doesn't get credit anymore for when it was good.
I always imagine funny alternate scenes like Rick's whole crew having a cup a tea in silence under an 'Intervention' banner for Pete.
Rick became Shane crazy. Michonne had to knock him back. One of my favorite moments.
1:52 *"MOVE, BOY!!!"* 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Shane would be proud he got his skills from Shane
[Shane loved that]
If you don't fight, you die - the best line of the entire show
No, it isn't.
You little bitch.
Who laughed when michonne punched rick during his speech
She pistol whipped him
I love how carol bullies the little kid but protected him when he needed it most here
I just noticed how during Rick’s outburst the kid stood behind Carol.
By this point I'm not sure if you realize it or knows it yet or not but he really became a complete clone, an exact copy of Shane when it comes to Shane's and morals and what he would and wouldn't have done to survive and keep his group alive
