    Really great and thorough review. A model for other reviewers, really. I find most racquet reviews to be pretty useless, and even worse, very rambling and repetitive, but yours are very analytic and go deeper into racquet characteristics and performance, plus they are very articulate and well explained. Much appreciated.

      Very kind of you to say. I am a certified PT and S&C coach, physical movement is my thing - makes up a little for my lack of tennis talent!

      @@tenniseuphoria5012 It's very impressive indeed. Even the way you walk towards the baseline, you walk with a sense of urgency. Any tips for increasing speed/agility on the court?

    Many people were saying the Boom line was to replace the Instinct line, but now there's a new Instinct, so clearly not! Man, Head have too many rackets! What was interesting with the Extreme Tour is that even though it is listed as having a 22, 23, 21mm beam, I measured mine to be pretty much 22mm throughout, let's say 22, 22.5, 21.5mm! So you have another thing to check before believing the specs. This rounding of figures (!) may explain why the ET is more controlled than expected, and a very nice racket overall.

    Looking at its specs it's the successor to the Instinct and thus competes with sticks like the Ezone, FX or Pure Drive.

    Really nice review ! Question : playing now with Head Speed MP 360+ (Head Lynx Tour 1.25, 23/22kg) like it very much. Before played with Gravity MP 360+ (Velocity MLT / RPM Blast , 22/23kg) was ok, but something was missing. I'm after shoulder surgery and looking something arm friendly, but with a feeling like Speed and Gravity mix :) Clash is not an option tried them all, may be 98 head was playable 🙈😆 Can BOOM be a deal between Speed and Gravity MP ? Thanks :)

      Thanks for the comment, appreciated.
      Yes worth a demo for sure, I think it does sit in between those rackets for sure (the MP anyhow, in the middle of reviewing the pro - that is quite different to the MP I am finding). Left-field suggestion possibly, but also look at the Prince phantom 100x 305. Very arm friendly, could do with some lead but might be a contender for you too. Hope that helps

      Hi 🙂 Got BOOM MP few day ago. It was used 3hours and guy do not liked it, so sold to me. Racket have Dunlop NT Hybrid Orange+ strings with 25x25kg tension.
      I have added 2g of weight at 12 o’clock, put overgrip and string damper, got 322g weight and the racket plays fantastic ! 😁 Before was playing with Speed MP 360+ and was using Lynx Tour strings. Think later to switch to Lynx Tour with BOOM MP and have a doubt about what tension to use ? You said in review 53lbs (24kg) ? Should I go to 24/23kg with Lynx Tour what do you think ? 🙂

    I use the ol white and blue Head Instinct MP Berdych and Sharapova used. Any notes on how it compares/contrasts?

    Head trying to be like Yonnex with that isometric head, mixed results from a lot of reviewers, not very convincing like the Extreme , Prestige, Radical and Speed lines, I am keen to demo the Head Extreme Tour and the New 2022 Ezone which has been said to be big improvement on the previous version.

      The new Ezone for 2022 is second on the list for review, the boom pro next and then I will be on that. I am hearing good things about it. I thought the previous was good

    Are you still playing with extreme tour ?

    • @tenniseuphoria5012
      @tenniseuphoria5012  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t really compete anymore , play for enjoyment but have dabbled with some entries to competitive stuff again this year and may do more. The extreme tour with a leather grip and Lead at 3 and 9 would be my tournament racket now yes.
