I live in the countryside, in the westernmost country of the EU. In the countryside, it's usually much more relaxed everywhere.

I’m sure you know this, but your pink flower is a big leaf hydrangea. It’s a perennial. It will come back year after year and grow to be 5 foot tall and just as wide. You really should put it in the ground in a spot that has morning sun and afternoon shade. It will be beautiful in your cottage garden!

Garden looks great! Love the bohemian corner! I live in Texas and is over 100 degrees with 70 percent humidity and will be over 100 for the next week! I have to mow the lawn at 6AM because it is already 90 degrees by 10AM. Now that's hot!! LOL
You’ve made your home so lovely and “you’re own”!! I love your private, little outdoor bohemian oasis in that corner…so inviting and peaceful. You might want to consider spraying or scrubbing the concrete with something to keep that moss from growing back. I, unfortunately, have to do that every year; it always grows back. Loving all your flowers and pots!! You may need to thin out some of the plantings along your fence where you planted your sunflowers. While it’s beautiful, clearly those plants have been there awhile and gotten larger. As they get overgrown, they can choke out other plants, not allowing them to grow. Many of those plants you can simply divide and leave some where they are and then the half you dig up, plant elsewhere or share with others. I did that with my irises, black eyed Susan’s and some lilies. They get so large in a year or two and should be divided every couple of years. My lilies were originally planted by my great grandmother in the 1950’s. Since then, the original plants have been divided countless times and now reside in the gardens and yards of many family member’s homes. I refer to them as legacy lilies…keeping her memory and gardening alive all these years later! So, it’s been wonderful to share and I know future generations will have them as well when they’re older and have their own gardens. 💐❤️👵🏻 🏡

I don't know if 2nd hand shops around you ever have garden supplies beyond pot but I have found that older shovels are usually made better whilst being affordable. The garden was beautiful when you bought the house but everything you've done has made it even more lovely.

The recipe for killing weeds on your patio is - 4 parts white vinegar 1 part salt and a small amount of dish soap. Put in a bottle making small holes in the top. Sprinkle. You’re doing a great job on your garden.

The sitting area is beautiful!! I'm just wondering how hot is it there? It is unbearably hot where I live 98 degrees Fahrenheit and so humid. I can only work in my yard in the morning or evening. It's so satisfying to clean up the weeds. I absolutely love the way the sitting area looks in the evening with the lights! Those solar lights are so cute❤️

A DIY potting table would be perfect for your garden.
It would be great if you had a water feature in your garden like a fountain, if you had a fountain it would block out the road noise.

Hi Elise, I truly enjoyed your transformation of your little corner into a quaint, bohemian cozy corner. Love all that you have done in your garden area. Absolutely beautiful Elise. I miss gardening so much. Apt. Living has its pros, but the cons are greater; one being that I can’t plant any Elephant Ears and or flowers. I could get a large pot and plant a couple of bulbs, but that’s so costly. Thank you for bringing us along with your day in the garden.

The sitting area is beautiful!! I'm just wondering how hot is it there? It is unbearably hot where I live 98 degrees Fahrenheit and so humid. I can only work in my yard in the morning or evening. It's so satisfying to clean up the weeds. I absolutely love the way the sitting area looks in the evening with the lights! Those solar lights are so cute❤️
