This scene proved beyond a shadow of doubt how much Daisy has grown. Her views and manners of the world have altered, and for the better. She spoke to her, not at as so many people in her life of her done. With kindness and honesty comes truth and understanding. That's what she needed and that's what Daisy gave to her.
Anyone notice that Cora was eventually diagnosed with pernicious anemia, which became a treatable condition, whereas Lord Merton feared that very same diagnosis at the end of S6, when it was considered a death sentence? Really goes to show how far medicine advanced even between those years.
Daisy has never been one of my favorite characters, but this is perhaps one of my favorite scenes featuring her. She's grown so much since the beginning, and I love her taking Myrna to task. A great scene.

I've never seen this movie, but Myrna sounds like she has somewhat of an Australian accent. Is it supposed to be that way, or is it intended for her to be speaking in a lower-class (British) English dialect, a la Eliza Doolittle?
She doesn’t sound Australian at at all (the Aussies enunciate vowels more broadly). The actress is English. I think the movie indicates that Myrna’s dialect is associated with the lower class in England and not suitable for voice acting.
