Thanks for your videos and recomendations! On my Maitha I like playing Gibbous Moon Tarot and Endurance Activation to try and keep the damage reduction.
The Empress tarot card works wonders with her if you're using her as tank-healer (even better than the Hermit). The remove debuff/turn it into a buff effect works with Come on Everybody, which means she has a giant AOE heal that removes debuffs and buffs at a 3-ring range.
Really liked your video. I agree with you on Guard, a lot of people say it overlaps but because Come On Everybody is an active, I just love having the cover on a passive. And I'm not there yet but I'm a sucker for riposte type skills so I'm definitely getting the counter at RK 5.

I took Guard as passive block and Come on as emergency heal since floor 5+ enemies hits really hard, my Angel can't keep up with the heal 😅 But tbh I don't like the riposte, it probably good later on but as full tank she probably better with dmg reduction.
I love how they made the free starting characters in this game SSR units or 5 star units. It feels bad in other games when you like the starting characters but the devs chose to make them trash cause it doesn't make them any money
Quite frankly, I played some game where starting characters also good, but the lower ranking make them less desirable. At least the starting characters here are ok, not top tier, but we don't feel bad using them since it's all about SSR ;p
I used endurance activation because I run Angel(dont have inanna) which has passive and active healing and maitha also has passive healing and not to mention I slot the moon tarot on her so when she is at injured she will receive healing. A lot of heals from different sources will always proc her reaction. I tend to not pick the skills or passives that only trigger once per round and would rather that the chance of activating them all the time. I even remove maitha basic skill knockback so that when I auto battle she only has one active skill to use her energy which is what I want her as a pure tank rather than utility which I can get knockback from gloria and other sources. Of course I would switch out skills when I have to manual battle but the general idea is I want maitha to always use "come on everybody" and use other slots for passive for more survivability and tanking capabilities. The other point is that the modifier on the strike back reaction is low so the damage will be hard mitigated . She will always be at the frontline which will always be the center of taking most damage so the strike back reaction only work once and the time she will get hit by attack will always be more than once not to mention from other rangers as well. Maitha is a defender class which makes her has lot less phy dmg stat to begin with so the dmg output wont be that much noticeable. I would rather has a unit that specialize in something rather than jack of all trades which excel aat nothing or we always refer them as flex unit after all I already use gloria as my main buffer and nrg battery
Shes very underared as a tank she does everything possible to keep her and her party alive. I run mine with the shield whisper so she cam tank the first intiall burst damage commijg my way
Honestly, given that you get her for free and it's relatively easy to build up her Star level compared to most other legendaries, Maitha has been hard carrying me pretty good. As my only legendary Defender so far, I take her on most battles where there's not an excess of Breakers, and she basically does her job of keeping everyone else alive pretty good. Her Come On, Everybody! ability has actually been pretty clutch, considering that compared to most other guard/counter abilities it doesn't have a limit per turn so as long as you keep her around the group she will be tanking _EVERYTHING_ like a boss. And given that I have her equipped with the Guardian's Will which gives her bonus DEF when she has a shield and Desire for Temperance which gives her that shield, it's absurd how much damage this cutie can tank.
Theory crafting a little bit, but my Maitha seems to always go first in the round (may just be my characters I have). Is there any room to play with that? Thats why I took the distance closing move she offers. Good way to take out a banner or hit a barrel right at the start of a battle if it is advantagous.
Only quibble I have is with taking Guard. I did this and kind of regret it. As I have progressed in the game I have learned that skills which move your units around without your input are not optimal. Messes with your timing and positioning. It can also lead to traps, barrels and the like being set off at inopportune moments.
I love the fact that it's passive but I see your point. It's not life or death but it can be annoying. The most problematic is that it's not a smart skill. It may make you cover in front of a Breaker.
@@revo5124 it depends though, if I use a ton of sword of convolaria chars yeah I might replace it with the aura but if not nope. And It's not really sooner, Until I reach lvl 55 which is the invulnerability yeah but still a long way to go before we reach that. And it still depends that skill has a really long cooldown I might need to swap it every now and then so it's still has use even in end game.
I love this game a lot. Spiral of destinies mode insanely good it remind me tactics ogre 😆 currently im on Lutfi route. Im trying to save gloria to do her route but im ended up on lutfis wonder when im made a choice mistake 🤔
I need help AURONJ, man with the vest, I seem to have gotten stuck at rank 32 which as you know is one rank before 33 which allows me to start chapter 5 in the story I’m about halfway to it and I’m having a difficulty getting the experience I need to continue progressing forward. Any recommendations?
Guard gives the +20% defense Come on everybody ensure it procs, and there a heal and bufd to boot The “Maita’s charge” is not needed bcoz u already have “leg slam” beside. End game id change this to invulrenability or maitas combo For reaction you need to buff up defense (counter attack is not her forte anyways) so no brainer there.. I choose the party leaser buff so Ravihya can forgo her leader’s aura
can someone test safiyah and nergal? are they a good combo in my theory since nergal can apply the hanged mans mark in a 5 block line, this means safiyah can now target other enemies other than the one she marks which means we can control her attacks better. will this really work or nah?
@@lens_hunter It was obviously recorded on the test server.... No amount of money can gives you this much skill unlock, even if you buy everything available currently.
Disagree with your advice on block counter. It's only once per turn and there's still a 50% base chance to block from her trait. And that's on top of the 20% damage reduction. Also it's very easy to heal Martha. Heal potion equipment, unit that heal on attack, tarot with heal on injury, lots of characters with heal passives and skills. Also it's 20% damage reduction for two rounds. Easy to reapply if dispelled.

My strategy for most maps in this game if allowed is the "This is sparta" strat with Glacia, Maitha and Momo, even when using Maitha as a tank.
Great guide and tips. I've always loved tank characters so I'm just happy she's a free unit.
Should be important to know that maitha's talent doesnt heal 2 people until you star rank or whatever its called till 4-5

The highest spd go first, in other games may be assassin class have high spd but not this game😅
Tanks has the highest speed in this game. Just check all green units and see their speed.
I think guardian's will is still viable if you're running her with tarot that gives 25% shield

Also it's way better for hard content in tower
If you use her skill "come on everybody" she can block for her teammate 2 times
