Man I've been waiting for detailed videos for these stages, they've been KILLING me with all the little mechanics that you have to keep on top of. I'm currently level 36 and have beat stage 6 but am struggling big time on stage 7, that shield mechanic is just brutal even when I have all of my guys attacking it and ignoring the adds. I just don't think I can meet the DPS check yet (completely free to play, haven't used any luxite for more stamina because I'm saving for pulls) so I'll have to come back in a few days and try again. Thanks for the guide, and am looking forward to more for the rest of them!
I dont know if you miss this, but for each turret we kill, the boss take damage - but also gain 4% magic attack, this can be dispelled so the 'judgement' tarot is useful here since it passively have dispel at the end of the turn
Modified the strat a bit to fit my units, did Lv50 with Gloria-Angel-Falcon-Blade-Ballista (all Lv36) A few notes: 1. Bring Devil tarots for your dps units, you basically have permanent 30% buff after turn 3 2. Equip Judgement on Gloria to dispel dmg% buffs from boss, Blade trait also helps a bit 3. My Falcon kept getting oneshot on turn 2, the solution was activating Longinus-Brilliance on turn 2, the dmg% reduction saved the second turn and then the Devil kicked in 4. Flagellant on Angel. Those AoE attacks are not that deadly, and the extra skill point regen allows you to spam Light of Healing throughout the fight 5. Blade had some trouble with damage and had to be helped by Flying Blade Armguard trinket or Thunderstruck tactics a few times, in hindsight I should've upgraded his Newborn Blade from Lv30 to Lv40 6. If you have to prioritize weapons and tarots focus on dps first, they need to oneshot the turrets even if they're injured, Gloria doesn't have a minimum necessary damage in this fight, it's completely fine if she can't kill the first turret 7. The good news is that you only need to practice first 4-5 turns, then with the devil buffs and stacked penance it's all smooth sailing 8. It might be possible to do it without Gloria but I'm not sure, I really depended on that damage mitigation from brilliance, maybe a Rejection Mask trinket would've worked?

Ballista can reduce 40% phys defense on the boss with 100% uptime which wasn't much but he can one shot the shield with his Catapult skill if he crits(probably no crit if I bring out The Devil in him). Gloria brought in Vow of Justice to buff herself and Ballista and she was wearing the Redemption of The Judgement tarot whisper to remove the buff from the boss. Gloria and Ballista were pretty much on the boss the entire time. Gloria hit a turret on turn one and he hit one near the end, a blue one which Ballista can one shot. Falcon took down the turrets on the right side and Stinger went up. While stinger was up top doing the top turret, he was using his passive to apply hanged man on the boss to add a little bit of damage while out of range. Once the team was set up, it only took one attempt. Ballista is no joke.
The game need to improve the mechanic so that we can CHOOSE the direction we facing when ending the turn. If not, manuvering in all weapon trial will be a hassle
Blade ( the Papal States red hooded assassin ) is decent for this fight too if you don't have Col. His starting skill cost 3 energy for a 130% dmg hit that gives you back the energy if you kill your target. He also have the Ambush skill for a 20% dmg preemptive strike on full life enemy. This way he can use his skill every single turn to get rid of the turrets. This game have so many good low rarity units, I love this.
for Col replace skill (Ambush) to (Omen of death) and Tarot Whisper to (Devil) so whenever turret get killed Col get the stack, you will get up to 15% crit and life steal for 3 turn and recover 2 energy when Col kill a turret with that Col Flurry of stab always can be used also Devil Tarot Whisper get you atk and def boost per stack My account is level 41 and i can finish this weapon trial 3 lvl 55 easy with Gloria, Col and Butterfly alone
There's an option in the settings menu to make the "Move" button disappear from the UI. I kept accidentally clicking it instead of "Standby" like you did so I turned it off, I don't miss it at all.
No inana needed. Just use 2 assassins that can run around map and equip everyone(as in your whole team) with Temptation of devil tarot. You can easily achieve that sweet 30% atk and def naturally since you'd be killing the summon turrets by the boss anways. Gold/epic tarots also works since main effect doesn't change base on rarity.

Where do people get these Legendary trinkets? I have two (of the same kind...sigh) and that was from the recent Event. Rest are golds and I'm reluctant to push those to 40
Whenever i fight this boss it just uses apocalypse and ashes to ashes back to back in the same turn and instantly kills my units, how do i prevent this?
Is this a map where blade can accel? Man him and angel were carries in stage 4-17 (or is it 4-16) for me. The dodge skill and energy back when killing an enemy comes in clutch, plus he gets move when he attacks (in my build)
Would be helpful to get a guide without needing specific, hard to get SS tier characters. This strategy heavily relies on Gloria and Col's abilities, like being able to take two actions after a kill. Which no other character but col has.
Not having Col basically made it imposible to 1 to 1 copy this for me, i will try upgrading my gear a bit more but at 40 NonoWill nd Crimson seem not strong enough without good patk boosts on tarots just barely beeing too low.
Honestly feel they they need to buff the units damage they feel too weak and it takes too long to get stuff yet the mobs hit like trucks it’s not right
The difficulty of this game reminds me of the days I would play some of the now older fire emblem games on hard difficulty, that and conquest. It really feels rewarding to clear difficult content in this game
im trying this but on turn2 boss hits my faycal instead of falcon and kills him , tried multiple runs and its same thing is it random targeting or theres like stats the boss wants to target ,faycal isnt highest or lowest on the 5 main stats (hp p.atk m.atk p.def m,def)
Are you using Gloria with Judgement? Not sure if that's your situation, but I had one run where I used her throw banner skill and ended the turn not facing the boss. I believe that way she didn't debuff and the boss hit another target

That is the enemy level. In fools journey you start fighting enemies at like level 42 when you're 32. Very big tip for leveling up, with the memento thing, clear all the development quests, then it will automatically clear a bunch of other ones. This is a great way for getting xp.
I would say for my run I did three seekers. On all of them I had devil which ans even on my Angel I had her with a devil as well making her get more tanky as well. Use the playback feature as well. It helped me clear it in rounds needed

In the first 2 minutes he literally talks about how he has Gloria with judgment to remove the buffs. Learn to listen

You can use Inanna on this one. The one who kills summons and Act again after killing it, it's the Magician Boss of Trial 2.

My Col always dies in second turn boss agro is random now ? I get hit for 3000k

Blade, a non legendary unit is good too, someone commented they have ambush and an NRG refund if target killed skill

If you done it with 3 Star you could use Sweep function, this one maybe the only Mode you should use Sweep.

If you don't have Gloria you can use Abyss with Judgement Tarot. This character is fast enough to dispel the boss and debuff it before it attacks.
